方案1:優(yōu)秀學(xué)生直接入讀本科

推薦院校:威斯康星大學(xué)、普渡大學(xué)、明尼蘇達(dá)大學(xué)等

學(xué)生在高二到高三時(shí)考IELTS或TOEFL,條件好的學(xué)生可以再考SAT,高三上學(xué)期時(shí)獲得合格的IELTS或TOEFL成績(jī),可以直接申請(qǐng)美國大學(xué)本科。一般要求雅思 6.0分,高中三年平均分在80分以上。如果要申請(qǐng)排名前50的名校,要求雅思6.5分以上,高中三年平均分90分。

2.與父母溝通

隨著通用申請(qǐng)表的改版,不少準(zhǔn)備申請(qǐng)美國大學(xué)的同學(xué)和家長(zhǎng)開始擔(dān)心新政的變化會(huì)給自己的申請(qǐng)帶來影響。

文書申請(qǐng)系統(tǒng)改版從2014秋起,通用申請(qǐng)表(Common Application)對(duì)其申請(qǐng)系統(tǒng)做了全面改版,此次是CA歷史上最大一次改革,對(duì)學(xué)生申請(qǐng)美國本科名校具有非凡指導(dǎo)意義,影響巨大。使用通用申請(qǐng)的學(xué)校增加了33所,它的改革本質(zhì)上更直接更準(zhǔn)確地表達(dá)出美國本科學(xué)校所希望錄取的學(xué)生標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和群體,此次變革主要涉及界面,模塊,內(nèi)容,功能等方面,具體表現(xiàn)為:網(wǎng)申表格部分更新 網(wǎng)申付費(fèi)方式更新

網(wǎng)申表格變化較多,比如:活動(dòng)清單(Activity List)的描述字?jǐn)?shù)從舊版的100字符增加到新版的150個(gè)字符,學(xué)生有更多的空間來展示他們的細(xì)節(jié)和成就。

新CA的備選版本(Alternative Versions)將沒有限制,除了文書,學(xué)生可以無限次的修改網(wǎng)申(舊版本只限于10次);學(xué)生最多可以提交三個(gè)不同的文書版本。而且新CA將只接受網(wǎng)上在線申請(qǐng),不再接受打印CA表格并寄送紙板申請(qǐng)表格給學(xué)校等等新規(guī)。

寫作部分更新

更新五個(gè)文書題目,新的文書題目設(shè)計(jì)更鼓勵(lì)和要求學(xué)生在寫作時(shí)的反思和內(nèi)省,且字?jǐn)?shù)將嚴(yán)格控制在250-650字之間。小文書(Short answer)將不再出現(xiàn)在主表里,而是每所學(xué)校自己選擇是否要放在自己的附加申請(qǐng)(supplement)里面。

School Form部分更新

學(xué)生提供成績(jī)報(bào)告,提到自己排名時(shí),要說明學(xué)校或年級(jí)總學(xué)生人數(shù),由高中班主任填寫,只能填寫一次,不得修改。增加新的非學(xué)術(shù)性評(píng)價(jià),可以由申請(qǐng)者的同學(xué)、朋友或其他人提交,但是否需要這份材料由學(xué)生申請(qǐng)的院校決定。

網(wǎng)申付費(fèi)方式更新

新Common APP的付款方式有變化:不再接受郵寄支票。針對(duì)國際學(xué)生,如果沒有美國信用卡和賬戶,可以通過Sallie Mae提供一個(gè)新的在線支付方式付款。
