一個偶然的機會，曾看到這樣一幅風景：一位長者，須發皆白，面對無限美好的夕陽，他靜靜地微笑，神情是那么專注，神態是那么安詳。我不知道人世間還有沒有一種風景，比這更溫馨、更動人。遲暮之年，靜靜地微笑，這是多么幸福快樂的晚年。俗話說：笑一笑，十年少。人到暮年，不忘微笑，能擁有健康快樂的老年心態，又怎么可能不延年益壽，怡養天年。

微笑如丹。有資料表明，那些長命百歲的長者，絕大多數都是深知快樂之道的人。在他們的人生旅途中，無論生活是多么的艱難困苦，他們也不忘讓微笑來為他們擋風遮雨，讓微笑來為他們披荊斬棘，讓微笑來為他們驅病強身，延緩衰老。對于煩惱，微笑是最好的靈丹妙藥，它無需成本，卻可創造許多價值，也難怪有人會說：微笑是人的半條生命。

微笑如花。人生天地間，不可能事事如意，件件快心。總會遇到這樣或那樣的坎坷與磨難。這時候，就需要我們保持一個健康的心態，達觀、快樂，笑對人生。我們要學會用微笑去化解隔閡、消除誤會，也要學會用微笑去澆灌生命、滋養心田。要用微笑去沉沉暮氣，獲勃勃生機。要知道微笑是生命的太陽，只要太陽永不落，就一定會有云開霧散、春暖花開的那一天。要學會笑看花開花落，要學會靜觀云卷云舒。

微笑如歌。要知道生、老、病、死，乃是自然規律，無法抗拒。人生必老，但是并不等于沒有希望。人到老年，視野更開闊，閱歷更豐富，思想更成熟，心靈更純凈。就像一首老歌，博大、雄渾、深厚、綿長，絕非一般淺薄的流行歌曲可比。這是資本，也是財富，更是我們笑對人生的法寶。

微笑不應只是青年人的專利，也應該是建造老年人健康精神大廈的基礎。作為一個仁厚長者，我們千萬別讓憂郁的芽兒在我們的心田找到生存的空間，而是要讓垂老之心綻放快樂的花朵。我們要學會在困境中盡情地微笑，要讓生命的晚秋在笑聲中變得更輝煌、更燦爛、更溫馨。
