一、英文考試做題順序
MBA老師建議的做題順序： 第一步，閱讀
第二步，寫作，小作文和大作文 第三步，翻譯
第四步，完形填空。
順序原因：一切圍繞考分重點，即閱讀和寫作來投精力。完形填空作為時間的替補。
二、英文小作文通用要求和注意事項
1，格式規范：如作文標題，書信的開關及落款
2，書寫整潔：閱卷規定，書寫不清可以降低1檔（3分左右）
3，虎頭豹尾：作文的開頭、結尾都要用事先準備好的范句，不可出錯。前三句即決定成績。4，避免明錯：作文要用保險的方法，不要出明顯差錯，如時態，單復數，虛擬語氣等。備注：
1，老師閱卷是將試卷掃描成電子版，在電子版上閱卷，所以不能寫出界，否則掃描不上 2，小作文和大作文可以有重復的句子出現。因小作文和大作文是不同老師流水線改卷。
三、小作文種類 1，作文通用要求
MBA英語二的寫作25分，分為：
A節：小作文，10分，種類：A1，應用文:書信，備忘錄，報告，通知，便箋
字數要求100字，一定要大于100字 B節：大作文：15分，三類：

書信格式：要求采用縮進式，縮進可以4或8個字母 書信結構：

眾所周知，今年的英語感覺不怎么難，在座各位有沒有試著對自己的英語估一估分數？應該不在少數，而且覺得自己考得不錯的也不在少數，這種不錯的感覺接下來給你帶來一個很大的挑戰，你這個不錯是一個門票，帶你進入下一個步驟，而這個步驟是相當殘酷的。在備考MBA的過程中，所有的考生具有一個非常特殊的特點，我們工作了很長時間，而這個特點帶給大家的一個直接效果是，英語對于你來說是很陌生的，但是這種陌生，如果放在試卷上答題的話，可能還好一點，但是如果放在交流這個場合下，很多同學就會覺得更加難。今天我們談的就是怎樣克服這個問題。短短的時間并不能把這個問題解決掉，剛才王令老師花了很多時間為大家解答這個問題，我覺得這個過程應該是很漫長的。
有的同學曾經也問過我，英文的面試到底需要不需要技巧，每個學校的英文面試時間并不長，五六分鐘、七八分鐘，這么短的時間，到底需要不需要英文的面試技巧？我們就要想，如果你沒有技巧，會帶來什么？今天距離開始面試的時間應該也只有一個月了，如果有的同學覺得今天開始還為早的話，再推半個月，當你只剩半個月時間的時候才開始，我們要做什么？
首先，我們需要英文面試技巧嗎？
這個問題其實是需要想，我覺得這個問題的答案很清楚，當然需要，而原因就是，“You never get a second chance to make a first impression”大家知道，第一印象是非常重要的，就像我們和別人見面，第一面很重要，決定了你會給別人留下一個什么印象，而這個印象就是決定性的。但是，第一印象是很短時間就有的，這個很短時間的印象就會給你帶來終身都遺憾的事情。那么，到底有多少時間來留這個第一印象呢？有人說一分鐘，也就是60秒，總之是在很短的時間下，你需要給對方留下一個很好的印象。之所以有這樣兩句話作為鋪墊，我們知道，技巧是需要的，訓練肯定是需要的。
第二，假如現在我們根本不作訓練，根本不考慮面試的技巧。大家想，在面試的時候，對方會和你有什么交流？很簡單的，他會問你“你能否作一個自我介紹？”那么，我們可以看到有的同學真的是語無倫次的，而且開始發愣，他不是不了解自己，而且想過千百次為什么要考MBA，但是他當場發愣了。另外一類不是說不出來，而是說得缺乏邏輯性。英文面試需要花的時間是多少呢？需要你在多短的時間內給對方一個清楚、明白的說明？也就是一分半，這一分半鐘能說出什么呢？很多人只能說出自己叫什么，年齡多大，為什么來參加這個面試。
還有一種就是枯燥乏味的。我們知道，每個人身上都有一定的幽默性，但是你如何說得與別人不同？就像我們說的在考試的時候要寫得清楚一點，就是為改卷的老師考慮，他們的住宿條件又差，心情又很郁悶，如果再看到繚亂的筆記，他的心情會非常差。面試的時候也是一樣，老師聽了那么多介紹，覺得都差不多，他的心情會不太好，但如果你的表現非常幽默，會給他一個好印象。
如果我們從今天開始準備，需要準備什么？
其實大家面臨的也就這兩個問題，第一，可能有人覺得擔心聽不懂。這是很常見的，剛才王令老師說了，英語就是一種交流的工具。如果對方說的你聽不懂，交流的目的就無法發現。第二種是你懂，但是說不出。
那么怎樣解決呢？首先要解決的是，在這段時間里，你要聽懂的是什么？大家可以看到，北大、清華或人大一些名校，他們的面試流程具體來說都各有不同，但事實上都會有一些環節，老師和你有一個交流，你和你的同伴有一個交流，就這兩個環節，在這個過程中，第一你要聽懂老師的話，如果聽不懂，你一下子告訴他，我的英語很差，這不行。個別老師如果心情好，他會和你有一丁點寒暄，包括進門的時候說“How do you do？”這時候你怎么作反應？如果不回應那也不行，甚至有時候老師會在你面前有炫耀，他會問你一長串的問題，這時候我們也要想怎樣讓他實現虛榮心的滿足，他滿意了，你也就滿意了。還有一種是和同
伴的交流，特別是考清華的同學要注意，因為清華每年都有和同伴的交流，無論是小組討論還是一對一討論，這種形式對于你能否順利通過不好說，如果你的同伴很優秀，那你就成了陪練，你站在他旁邊，他侃侃而談，而你發愣，那就麻煩了。還有，和同伴的交流也很重要，你和一個棒槌在一塊兒，在交流的時候，他聽不懂你說話，你聽不懂他在說什么，他會很痛苦，這種事兒我們遇到過，他覺得自己這一生最悲涼的事情就是遇到他，他根本聽不懂你說什么。這就是我們說為什么大家在考試前要盡量多地接觸不同的同伴，這種接觸表示你可以適應更多的語言形式，你不要期望你的同伴的發音很準備，甚至要做到面試官都聽不懂你同伴的問題，你都聽懂了，而且還和他無障礙交流，這樣面試官都會從心里佩服你，覺得你這個人的英語實在很強。
為什么我們要搞面試呢？這個面試英語對大家將來有什么意義？這絕對不是一個光口，不僅僅是因為你上課的時候都有這樣的教材，大家更希望的是在將來能夠流利地和同伴交流。而這樣的要求并不過分，這樣的要求要實現必須是一點一滴積累的，而這一點并不要求我們去聽最標準的英語，你將來見到的客戶可能是操著各種各樣口氣、語氣的英語，能聽懂也是非常重要的能力。
有人問我，可以聽什么？比如國際廣播電臺、商務談判等等，這些不要聽，因為跟你的考試沒有關系，大家不要對自己提過高的要求，我們作筆試輔導的時候就說過這點，我們現在都提倡終身學習，你把這個要求要放在自己的一生中，現在我們的要求是要過英文面試，這些和你的英文面試沒有關系，所以我們不要聽。
我們到底要聽什么呢？如果大家覺得自己的聽力現在比較差，你可以從四六級的短對話開始聽，這種資料非常多，市面上隨便可以找到。為什么從這個開始聽呢？因為很遺憾，這兩年的考試都不考聽力，我們給大家輔導的時候就問過，不考聽力是好事還是壞事？就看你怎么看。從過筆試這關來說，它當然是一件好事，但是因為我們面臨的筆試越來越強，現在來看就不是好事。所以對于個別人對自己的聽力特別沒信心的，要從四六級的短對話開始聽。其次要聽的是日常生活中的各式各樣的對話，這不僅是針對清華的同學，清華有這樣的短對話考試，如果你有時間，把日常的各種各樣的短對話多聽聽也沒有壞處。
第三是面試中的一些文件，這些在市面上很好找。

關于“說不出”的問題，還可以細分，有的同學是當你讓他用英文講的時候，他真的講不出來。還有的人是有話講，但是講不出來。第三、是如何使自己說的話有效，這要保證兩點：一，說得正確，為什么我們要糾正大家的發音和語法呢？就是要使你說出的話正確。其次是要清晰，我們不要求在座各位說出的英語都非常優美，這是需要長時間做到的，但是我們必須要求大家說出的英語是正確的。比如一個很簡單的詞，大家在學習的時候都會遇到，“大學”，這個詞的發音很簡單，我不強調你一定要發出“v”的音，我們至少要求你的重音要對，很多同學會把強調音節放在“c”的音上。像這樣的讀音錯誤是非常明顯的，而且會給你帶來非常不好的影響。
如果你發現自己沒有話說，接下來這段時間你應該做如下幾件事情：第一，你要報考什么樣的學校，就應該了解這個學校的相關內容，包括它MBA項目的內容。這是非常關鍵的，因為你了解了以后，這些就可以作為背景信息，當你需要的時候就可以說出來。第二，我們看了書中的面試流程介紹以后，很簡單的一點，就是要考察你的英語表達能力。有的同學說，我報考的學校不要求提供英文簡歷，不管要求不要求，你一定要準備，因為它可以清晰地濃縮你的經驗歷史。
第三是預測可能會問到什么問題。
