我們美國人民仍然相信我們的責任不僅僅限于我們自己，而且要擴展到全世界，我們將會應對氣候變化的挑戰，我們知道如果不這樣的話，我們的子孫后代將會因此而受到懲罰。有的人仍在否認氣候變化，但是他們也看到了火災以及風災，還有旱災的威力，持續的能源來源，找到這樣來源的決定也許非常的艱難，但是我們必須起到領導的作用，我們不能夠落后于其他的國家，新的能源將會帶來更多的就業，我們必須保住我們承諾，這將會加強我們經濟的活力，可以使我們應對更多的挑戰，獲得新的能源來源，這也是我們保護我們的地球的方法，這將會使我們先輩所創建國土的一個承諾之一，我們美國人民仍然相信加強安全和持續的和平將會減少戰爭的發生。
