The Mid-Autumn Festival every one ,good afternoon!Part1: Then i will introduce the third part about The Mid-Autumn Festival.As we all know , The Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar.The round shape to a Chinese means family reunion, therefore the Mid-Autumn Festival is most romanticized in China as a day of family reunion and a festival with friends.It performance in that A few days before the festival，everyone in the family will help to make the house clean and beautiful.Lanterns will be hung in front of the house.On the evening there will be a big family dinner.Part 2.in the second picture ,there is the story of Its Origin :According to Chinese mythology, the earth once had 10 suns circling over it.One day, all 10 suns appeared together, scorching the earth with their heat.The earth was saved when a strong archer, Hou Yi, succeeded in shooting down 9 of the suns.Yi stole the elixir of life to save the people from his tyrannical rule, but his wife, Chang-E drank it.Thus started the legend of the lady in the moon to whom young Chinese girls would pray at the Mid-Autumn Festival.Part 3: in The Mid-Autumn Festival,we usually eat moon cake ,there is some moon cake picture.Part 4: It is believed that the moon is at her brightest on this night.many poems have been written about it, and poets are never tired of reading and writing such poems.in chinese literature, the moon of the mid autumn festival has been compared to a looking-glass, a jade rabbit, and so on.it seems that chinese literature takes far more interest in the moon than in the sun.we can see some famous poems on the picture.it is known to us.Part 5:People in different places follow various customs, but all show their love and longing for a better life.Today people will enjoy the full moon and eat moon cakes on that day.That all about Chinese Festival Culture by our group ,thank you very much.
