至今，依然對自己第一次背井離鄉的情景記憶猶新。相隔了八年多之久，回想起來，還是那么得有滋有味。那是一個對很多人而言再平凡不過的夏日的午后。在上海浦東國際機場的某個登機口前，懷著興奮而又忐忑不安的心情的我，耳邊不斷重復著親人們的叮囑以及朋友們的關切。就這樣，我仿佛插上了翅膀，飛離了腳下這片伴隨著我整整19年3個月零19天的土地。在漫長的飛行途中，腦海里一邊連續不斷地浮現很多熟悉的親朋好友的面孔，一邊不由自主地想象著即將到來的嶄新的生活和學習的畫面。幾乎徹夜沒有合眼的我，在喝下好多杯果汁后，往返于座位和洗手間。也許，在那從未經歷過的數十小時內，最需要的是清醒的大腦和清晰的思維。

經過了十多小時的飛行和轉機，內心反而平靜了。提著精心打包的行李箱，上了阿德萊德大學布拉德福德學院校長的車，開始了我人生第一次出國的第一段英文對話。

“So Haoyuan, do you have any English name?” “Yes, you can call me Daniel.”

“Daniel, which part of China are you from?” “I’m from Shanghai.Have you heard of this city?”

“Sure, Shanghai is one of the biggest cities in China, isn’t it?” “Yes, I think so, and I’m proud of that!”

“Are you? So are you excited about your study and life in Adelaide?” “Absolutely.I’m looking forward to my completely new life here.Because I like English very much, my parents sent me to Australia for my university education.”

“I see.By the way, your English is really good.Some students I met before couldn’t speak English at all when they first arrived in Australia.I’m wondering if you have been to any other English speaking country before.”

“Oh no, I started learning English when I was six, and I really like it!”
