2011-2011學年上學期英語教師工作總結
教師:岳英
本學期我承擔的三到六年級的英語教學工作。面對這些基礎參差不齊的小學生,我憂慮重重。如何做好他們初學英語的領路人,為他們創設好的英語學習氛圍,激發他們學習英語的興趣,培養他們養成良好的學習習慣是我本學期教學工作的重中之重。
萬事開頭難。剛剛開始教學工作,我開展了以下幾方面工作。1.教學進度的加快和教學內容的精簡。
(1)教學進度根據實際情況科學的制定和有效執行從一個側面反映著教學效果的好壞。三四年級英語教學進度教材規定的是一周三課時,完成全書學習內容共48課時。而三四年級的英語教學實際是一周兩課時。根據目前的實際教學進度不可能在規定的時間內完成教材學習內容。需要考慮到的是我至少要留出兩周的時間進行總復習。所以我的教學進度必須要快,可以用刻不容緩來形容。按照教學進度和現課時安排我從新制定了教學進度,每課完成3課時的任務量,每周必須完成一單元的教學任務。
(2)隨著每節課教學量的增加,每節課的教學內容也必須要取其精華。我分析了新起點這套教材,第一層次是以學習基本單詞和句子為主,第二層次是在學習第一層次內容的基礎上,適量擴展話語、平行學科知識和雙向文化等內容。每個單元的前三課時為教材第一層次學習內容。后三課時是第二層次學習內容。學生對基本單詞和句型掌握的越牢,對后面內容的學習就越輕松。根據學生的實際情況,第一課時我把最基礎和最重要的句子和單詞放在課堂教學的首位。通過各種有趣的課堂活動提供真實自然的語言環境,讓學生感知、模仿、交流、改進。第二課時我通常把舊知識的回顧復習放在一個重要的位置。通過多種教學手段和各種課堂活動鞏固舊知,為接下來的拓展環節做好準備。同時完成教學各環節任務的時間在課前我都有一個整體的預設。每節課都在爭取更多的時間來讓學生進行練習鞏固。
2.課堂教學方式手段多樣化。
(1)課堂教學的方式。對于年齡較小剛接觸英語的學生來說,他們活潑好動,注意力難以恒久,是否對英語產生興趣,關鍵是讓他們在課堂上帶著輕松愉快的感覺學習英語。課堂上我采用了大量的TPR教學法來進行教學活動,通過大量的英語指令讓學生聽后做,做中說,說中做,調動他們的多種感官進行單詞句型的記憶。這樣的課堂學習氣氛較為熱烈,學生的學習情緒高漲,注意力較為集中,收到了很好的教學效果。同時,在TPR中加入了大量簡單通俗的歌曲歌謠,學生邊表演邊演唱的形式鞏固了他們對教學內容的認知,提高了他們對英語學習的興趣。情景教學法是在教學的起始階段我運用比較多的一種方法。其中之一是先創設一個情景,比如播放一段城市生活的錄像,讓學生猜出這是哪個城市,這不僅集中了他們的注意力,而且調動了他們積極思考大膽發言的熱情。學生猜出是北京這個城市之后,我隨即引出本單元的課題Beijing,從而讓學生掌握這一單詞的詞型和讀法,并為他們初步感知本單元學習的有關內容做好了鋪墊。游戲是學生們最喜愛的活動,所以我在課堂活動中運用的最多,但這些活動是否適合一二年級的小學生參與,是否能調動他們的學習熱情,并能讓學生在愉快的游戲中真正學到有用的知識是最最關鍵的問題。所以游戲活動我本著面向全體、趣味性與實效性相結合的要求來創設。在課堂實踐中可以說游戲活動的教學效果是喜憂參半,喜的是一部分活動真正達到了我課前預想的效果,比如在看水果猜單詞小組競賽中學生表現踴躍,小組之間競爭提高了他們進行活動的熱情,在每次猜水果單詞的過程中就是對該單詞的一次或多次鞏固記憶。憂的是一部分游戲還不適合一二年級的小學生參與,比如書上54頁的BINGO游戲,雖然課前覺得自己設想很充分,課上已講好游戲規則,但大部分學生還是理解不了游戲怎么玩兒,以至于在活動中浪費了很多的時間。這需要我必須做好每節課課前的備課環節,對課堂上各種活動可能會出現的問題有一個整體的預知,找到較好的解決辦法,同時每節課課后要求我對課上存在的問題必須要有反思,及時調整教學策略,制定出有效解決問題的辦法,提高課堂游戲活動的實效性。
(2)多種教學手段的運用。來到埔尾小學,這里的教學設施為我的課堂教學提供了很大的幫助。從剛開始接觸多媒體不會制作課件,到業余時間的探索學習,我已掌握了如何使用多媒體教學,初步學會了如何制作簡單的課件,并能把它運用到實際教學中去,同時收到了一定的教學效果。這對我來說是本學期的一個小小的收獲。每節課課前我都根據課堂學習任務精心的準備教具。比如單詞卡片、實物和課件不單單是要求美觀還必須醒目,最重要的是他們必須能為本節課的教學提供有效的幫助。為了不耽誤時間,每節課課前我都提前幾分鐘到教室,把本節課的教具準備妥當,需要的幻燈、電視和課件提前打開等等。這些看似小小的事情,卻恰恰加快了英語課的教學節奏,為課堂活動的準時完成做好了充分的準備。
3.加強寫字教學。我想我們教師的責任就是培養孩子從小就養成一種做事認真負責的好習慣,寫字教學就是我們養成他們這種習慣的最好手段之一。我想這不僅僅是班主任老師的責任,更是我們課任老師的一種責任。
(1)規范自己的書寫,給學生做示范。說實話自己很多時候是一個比較粗心大意的人,認真起來寫得還可以,但不認真起來就寫得很亂,為了讓我的學生寫好字,養成良好的書寫習慣和做事認真的態度,我正在努力的做到不論寫什么都認真,爭取改正自己寫字亂這一毛病。首先是板書。課前我要求自己對本課的板書有一個大概的設想,有時候我根據教學內容提前設計好板書,做到心中有數。在課上我的板書努力做到工整、清楚、規范和美觀。在平時的教案、聽課筆記、教師業務和政治學習筆記甚至是會議記錄中我也一筆一劃認認真真的書寫,爭取做到自己滿意,檢查的領導滿意。
(2)規范學生的書寫,及時給予正確的評價。本學期不論是在學生課堂的書寫、上交的作業還是在期中、期末考試的卷子中我都要求學生盡全力做到書寫認真、規范、美觀,并及時給以檢查總結和指導。一二年級的學生剛剛接觸英文字母書寫,尤其是一年級小學生很容易和剛學的拼音混淆,針對這一情況,我專門用一節課時間來教字母書寫的筆順、格式。為他們做好示范。平時課堂教學遇到愛混淆的字母,我運用多種教法來讓學生在音型意上對其進行感知體會。在學生練寫的環節我注重對他們在課上和課后的書寫態度和書寫成果給以及時的評價,樹立書寫較好的學習典型,帶動全班共同進步。平時落筆的英語作業不多,主要是練習冊里的習題,在上交練習冊過程中我不但要記下答案準確的學生名單還要記下那些書寫較好的學生名單,在糾正練習冊錯誤時給以粘貼獎勵和表揚。在總結學生的書寫任務時,我關注細節,比如要求學生寫錯了改正時需要用橡皮蹭干凈,做書上和練習冊中的連線題時必須用格尺等等。這些看似很羅嗦的要求,時刻都在提醒著所有學生必須認真完成任務,爭取做到最好。4.加強課堂紀律管理。有心理學家研究認為,正常情況下,教師會因為學生的違紀失去50%的課堂教學時間。這可見課堂紀律對教學活動是否有意義是多么的至關重要。我所教的的小學生很聰明,模仿能力強,接受新知識較快,但很多學生意志力薄弱,自制力差,課堂上愛分心,需要成人監督。這就需要我對學生在課堂上的紀律加以調控。
要使紀律有保障,最重要的是備好課,讓教學活動具有吸引力。備課環節我必須考慮到要增強教學各環節的趣味性和節奏感,面向全體,將任務型教學貫徹始終,不給愛分心愛搞小動作的學生分散注意力的機會。對于可能在某個環節出現不守紀律的現象,比如做游戲的時候只能部分學生活動,其它未參與者應該如何做,我都在課前已做好安排,活動前提出具體要求,這樣就能保證學生活而不亂。
在平日教學中我總愛穿插一些小故事講給孩子們聽。這些故事也許是我以前經歷的,也許是剛剛發生的,都很有教育意義。比如課上有的孩子愛拿著鉛筆回頭,這樣做很不安全,也影響后面同學聽課。隨即我就把自己親身經歷的小故事講給他們聽。這些故事都不會很長,也不會具體告訴他們必須怎樣做,但是往往這些小故事能讓他們集中精神,引起他們的思考,指導他們在課堂上應該怎樣做。起到了一定的效果。還有就是對課堂紀律表現較好的部分集體給以較高的評價。幫助一部分學生做出正確的選擇,帶動其他的學生一起遵守紀律,這也是我在課堂紀律管理中常用的策略之一。其實如何管好課堂紀律上目前我還是處在摸索中,自己確實存在著很多的不足。很幸運的是本學期許多班主任老師給予了我積極的支持和幫助。可以說我的英語教學工作能有效順利的進行是和很多班主任老師井井有條的班級管理分不開的,在此我要謝謝班主任老師們對我教學工作的關心、支持和幫助。
雖然剛到埔尾一年,但領導和老師在工作和生活上都給了我很多的幫助和鼓勵。在此,我再一次對你們表示真誠的感謝。在今后的工作中我會更加努力,爭取和你們一道為埔尾小學的輝煌添磚加瓦。
