我們每個人都要學習科學，傳播文明，在享受新生活的同時，更要創造新生活，如今，科技產品的更新換代不斷加快，可視電視、電腦上網、心臟起搏器，已經不算新鮮了。從19XX年發明的真空吸塵器，到人造地球衛星、載人宇宙飛船，科技在不同領域里顯示出了強大的力量。電子產業、通訊技術的日益普及，納米技術、超導材料的廣泛應用，不久的一天，也許就在你的餐桌上，會出現像太空青椒、人造牛排等生物工程食品。學習科學技術，不僅僅是為了成為科學家，也是為了能適應生活，更為了能成為新世紀的主人，擔起新世紀，為國家建設，為人類文明做出貢獻。

新中國成立以來，我國的科技發展突飛猛進，人工合成胰島素、斷手再植、雜交水稻、爆炸原子彈和氫彈、發射人造衛星和飛船等等，這些令世人矚目的科技成就，大大縮短了我國和先進國家的科學技術的差距，為我國的現代化建設注入了活力。鄧-小-平爺爺說“科學技術是第一生產力”，的確如此，科學為我們祖國的騰飛插上了翅膀。毛澤東主席曾對青年說，世界是你們的，也是我們的，但歸根結底是你們的。這句話，飽含了長輩們對我們的殷切期望。如果說長輩們用辛勤的勞動建設了20世紀的祖國，那么，我們就應該以知識、以科學擔起新世紀的重擔。
