My first impression towards the subject---Water Quality Environmental Engineering was from 2005 beijiang cadmium pollution accident which caused water failure in a large area of the city.This disaster was like an alarm bell, reminding people of the importance of the environmental problems and also let me realize that environmental disasters are actually very close to our lives.Through the study period in Water Supply and Drainage Engineering, I have mastered the basic theoretical knowledge and related research methods, which will definitely benefit me a lot for my further study in Water Quality Environmental Engineering.In my postgraduate period, one year of study in Municipal Engineering will also help me to be one step nearer my goal.I hope, during my study in Gifu University, I can learn the knowledge and special research methods in Water Quality Environmental Engineering by combining my mathematical knowledge learnt from undergraduate program and apply what I learnt to the area of how to solve the specific problem in water quality.Moreover, I can make recognition and analysis from other perspectives different from those students majoring in environment in their undergraduate period, which can make supplement for some limit in knowledge.At the same time, I can learn new thinking pattern and method to solve problems from them to make up what I lack.This kind of learning can broaden my vision, break down the limits of subjects and help me to pursue future career in that field.For my future plan, I hope to master the strong ability in researching technology and method through the postgraduate study in Water Quality Environmental Engineering and apply those theories and technologies to unsolved problems that have significant impact on peoples’ lives, such as model building of comprehensive assessment of water quality.In my career life, I will do related works in that field, to accumulate practical experience first and finally become elite in my interesting field.To sum up, I am a young man with determination for environmental industry and strong learning ability to confront any challenges in the future.Please give me the dreamed opportunity to lay a solid foundation for devoting myself to environment.
