2011年9月9日，第27個教師節到來之際，上饒縣第一小學慶祝教師節暨表彰大會在五樓會議室召開，全校200余名教師共聚一堂。會上對一學年來被評為校、縣、市、省等各級教育主管部門評選的優秀教師和先進代表進行了表彰和頒獎。優秀教師代表方翠君老師作了發言，總結了自己一年來的工作經驗與同事們進行了有效的溝通和分享，她就過去一年自己任教學科的特色活動作了經驗交流。分管學校具體工作的領導回顧和總結了過去一學年所做的工作和成績，展望了新學年的工作。徐校長最后在會上作了重要講話并分析了我校教育教學現狀，針對癥結提出解決辦法，在聽了其他校領導對一年的工作回顧后，徐校長更多的是提出了一些思考。他鼓勵教師們繼續認真工作，為學校作出更大的貢獻，對一年來辛勤工作的全體老師表示衷心的感謝和節日的問候。

表彰會結束后，為了豐富廣大教職工的課余生活，學校安排全校老師到上饒縣橙天嘉禾影院看電影，這一新鮮的節日慶祝方式受到了老師們的喜愛。
