The Scent of a Woman is the kind of film that many would think belongs to a bygone era.While it is frank and contemporary without sugar coating it illustrates the value of character over glitz and how small acts can have long lasting consequences.The film pits two characters who are diametrical opposites.Al Pacino plays the world weary retired Army Lt.Colonel who through a stupid accident lost his sight and his way of life.Chris Donnelly is a young prep school kid on a scholarship whose way of life may be coming to an end owing to the acts of richer kids at the exclusive prep school who pull a stupid stunt.The blind Lt.Colonel needs an escort so that he can go to New York city and have a rip roaring time before he makes a fateful decision.The poor preppy needs to earn a few bucks to travel and is in desperate need of some advice on how to get through his crisis at school.The interplay between the two characters is mind boggling.It is more riveting than the best Grisham novel.Both characters are asked to make life and death decisions that call for them to reach deep into their inner core.The right decision is unhappily the tougher decision to make.Two terrific scenes that are not to be missed.The first is in the New York ballroom where the blind Lt.Colonel teaches the actress Miss Anwar to dance the tango.It is so smooth and dramatic that even a couch potato is tempted to reach for the Yellow Pages in search of dance lessons.The second and most profound is the speech that Al Pacino makes in defense of Chris Donnelly at the prep school disciplinary hearing.It has to go down as one of the great orations of all times.The Scent of a Woman is very satisfying on many levels.The character development is superb, dialogue terrific, glamorous locations and a story line that requires the characters to show themselves to be the people they really are.The film has a lot of funny lines and great drama.This movie make me feel the difficulties are just a little case, we should have a optimistic attitude to tackle it!And life is wonderful!

我有幸觀看了電影《聞香識女人》，接下來我將闡述我對這部電影的理解與看法。

初聞其名以為是部愛情影片，講的卻是男人之間的故事，女人在這里注定只能成為配角。一個影片，兩個故事。一個退伍的老軍人，失明、萬念俱灰，曾經的叱咤風云身手矯捷身居要位任性胡為都加倍的造成了他的失落寂寞與徹底的自我否定。此時他最需要的只是知心人真誠而簡單的肯定。用全部的積蓄給自己安排了一個奢華的旅行，接著重新燃起了生活的希望；一個優秀的高中生，正直、善良，在面對揭發與不揭發所謂“朋友”劣跡的艱難選擇中，終于找到了真實的自我。兩個男人所處的世界顯然截然不同，但卻同樣是孤寂的心情，迷惘中偶遇，離奇的情節中形成了父子感情，相互幫助，在搶奪自殺的槍和精彩的演講中，力挽狂瀾，拯救了對方的命運，完成了各自人生十字路口上的關鍵抉擇。這本來就是描寫人內心世界的兩個故事，精彩的情節再交織在一起。可愛的退役中校，脾氣古怪，談吐犀利，喜歡說臟話，有點小小的好色，有股子老頑童的勁，內心卻是受過嚴重創傷，但是什么都改變不了他耿直的個性，純潔無瑕崇高的靈魂。單純的高中生，脾氣溫和，彬彬有禮，偶爾的笨拙也掩蓋不了聰明的天賦，雖然家庭貧困，但卻通過自己的努力獲得了保送哈佛大學的提名。

影片的精彩在于，導演使兩個背景完全不同的男人因為偶然而相遇，一老一少的組合擦出了意義深遠的火花。相處時間不長確又彼此重新打開心扉，重新找回了自己他們的人生觀價值觀大相徑庭，可是后來兩人都接納了對方，并且從彼此的人格中找到了自己的生命意義。兩人從最初的對彼此的不理解，到后來的試著去了解對方，再到后來為對方敞開心扉，直至最后都成為了能夠影響彼此人生的忘年交。上校和查理一起度過的這幾天讓他因為查理的天真和那種真摯的品格感覺到了人性中的溫暖，從而找到了生命的意義，接而對所有的不快和郁悶感到釋懷，重燃希望。查理則在于上校相處的過程中受到其影響，在面對選擇時，選擇了自己的原則，沒有為自己前途利益而放棄自己的信仰的原則。

在電影的配樂方面，我認為有其獨到之處，不管是影片剛開始時不知是用什么樂器演奏的悠揚又有點歡快的曲調，或是上校與女子共舞那段由小提琴演奏出的激情又不失優雅的探戈舞曲，顯示出了上校在重新置身在美人，豪華酒店等熟悉的場景時身上所顯示出的的那種自信。兩種不同的音樂，表現的是這個國家人民的氣質，在影片當中雖起不到什么非常重要的作用，卻不失為點睛之筆。

最讓我印象深刻的是接近末尾那段上校的演講，直白而犀利，卻給人一種醍醐灌頂的感覺，時間不短卻句句經典。

故事繞了一圈又回到原點，上校又回到了侄女的家，但的心境卻大有不同。聞香識女人，其實是對人生的期冀，是對人生生活的一種向往！這背后包含的在我看來，其實是一種生命的態度，生活是有挫折的，不可能一帆風順，但是跌倒總要爬起，不管在什么時候，也要保持一種積極的人生態度，一種向上的精神！

片最吸引人的地方是它高雅而不熟套、樸實而不乏味，平緩而不拖沓，像一瓶剛打開的成年紅酒，其中的色香味需要你的細心品味才能發現其魅力。給人以脫俗的感覺，就像沐浴在春日的陽光下。活出自己的個性吧!像影片的男主人公一樣勇于正視自己的人生，好好享受生命綻放的燦爛！

看《聞香識女人》有感

我很喜歡看電影，雖然不是影視專業，但每當看好電影之后，都喜歡看看豆瓣影評，在自己感悟一番。雖然如此，但我因為覺得自己才疏學淺，縱然似乎有所感悟，卻終究不曾組織成語言過。今日得此機會，也好強制自己嘗試一下，并過把小隱。

影片中有兩個重要人物，各有風騷。少年查理純的像清水，老中尉雖雙目失明脾氣暴躁但是通天曉地，幽默而有魅力，聞香能識女人。也許應了這部電影的名字《聞香識女人》，老中尉才是最主的主角，電影里他那段伴著《只差一步》的腳步不知讓多少觀眾癡迷于探戈的魅力。但是也許是因為我太年輕，老中尉的痛苦與釋懷我無法深刻的體會，也許再過幾年重新看這部電影，我才會與老中尉產生共鳴吧。

查理的品質讓我有點小嫉妒，我也是看了第二遍才看出來。電影字幕中把它翻譯成‘原則’我覺得并不適合，導致豆瓣上有寫評論稱這部電影內容一般。歧義的中文翻譯使有些評友認為的電影中表現的是少年不惜犧牲自己卻不出賣朋友，甚至那幾個朋友都沒把少年當朋友。評友們覺得這個主題很膚淺而且滑稽，為了不是自己朋友的朋友而堅持原則犧牲自己簡直是愚蠢。從這一點讓我恰好更深刻的感受到了電影的正真的主題。

英文字幕里寫的那句話是：“i stood up everything and everyone cause that make me feel important，but you do it cause you mean it”中文字幕是：“你卻是為了原則而反抗”，我覺得英文比中文來的更直觀，我覺得中文應該翻譯成“你堅持任何事都是源于你的內心良知”。影片中的少年，從校長或者大家的角度看來，面臨一個抉擇，姑且說是一個二選一的選擇題：要么，堅持講義氣不打小報告，維護那些還不算是自己朋友的那些同學，冤屈的承擔全部責任，可能被開除，前途一片渺茫，要么聽老師的告發一切，接受老師的報送哈佛的賄賂，從此基本上前途一片光明。自問一下如果是自己會怎么選，我想幾乎全會選擇后者，不用解釋吧，“不然白吃一個處分”，沒得選。輪到少年選了，他說：“I couldn't say.（我不能說。）”看上去他選擇了前者（不說）？你錯了，他選的應該說是第三者。網上的歧義就在這里，少年沒有告發不良少年，他不是選擇守口如瓶，而是根本沒有去選擇，拒絕做那道選擇題，或者說選擇了第三者。我注意到了老師憤怒的追問他“couldn't, shouldn't, or mustn't.”這三個英文中的情態動詞我就粗獷的翻譯為“不能說還是不可以說還是死也不說”，其實老師是在追問：別說不能說我看不懂，你是有難處（諸如類似另一位目擊者說的沒帶隱形眼鏡或受威脅等借口。），還是就是守口如瓶死也不說。其實這三個情態動詞還是在追問前面的要么要么，可少年也認真的思考過之后還是說“I could't say.”他還是沒做那道選擇題。所以電影表現的并不像歧義的那么膚淺。那少年到底是如何想的？他貴在何處，讓老中尉最后能這么澎湃的為他說話？重新來看原來的事情，喜歡拍上級馬屁還賣弄虛榮的校長被不良學生捉弄，不良少年整蠱偽善校長，其實這件事情處于平衡狀態，沒有孰是孰非。而少年面臨的，其實是，接受校長的利益來打破這個平衡，頑皮少年陷入窘境，而校長更加洋洋得意，還是犧牲自己的利益而維持這個平衡。顯然少年選擇的后者，他的可貴之處在于，在做決定時，并非同常人一樣優先考慮自己的利益。而是把自己的利益放在一邊，完全以一個旁觀者的身份，公平公正的去處理遇到的事情，他有一個公正無私的內心良知。而這分良知

又不像現在中國社會普遍存在的偽道德。我有必要解釋一下“偽道德”這個名詞。道德不像法律，沒有白紙黑字，更沒有明確的對錯之分。而加以明確“該與不該”的道德就讓我粗略的定義為“偽道德”。如“范跑跑”事件，如大罵百事捐款才多少多少。這些都是因為自我意識淺薄加上嚴重的盲目從眾心理和嚴重的虛榮心所形成的“偽道德”。當然少年當時沒想那么多，這份公證的良知完全來源于自己的內心，甚至都不需要為什么。而現在的很多人在處理事情的時候，比如公交車讓座這件事情，廣播里放著“請給老弱病殘孕讓座”，面對一個身體健碩的老人，你曾經有沒有這個疑惑，不讓感覺自己不對沒有道德，讓了感覺自己好像做了一件好事很有道德，心理斗爭激烈。這就不是真正的應該源于自己內心的道德，而是受外在別人眼中對錯約束的偽道德。所以，少年是可貴的，在電影的結尾，當你亢奮于老中尉澎湃的演講時，當你為少年高興的送一口氣的時候，你是否同時感到了一絲慚愧，這才是最重要的。
