英語，是全世界通用的語言，只要你會說英語，不管走到哪里，就都不用擔心受怕了。

我喜歡英語這門學科。最早接觸英語的時候是小學三年級，當時學校對這門新開設的功課雖然比較重視，但沒有安排單元檢測，所以大家上英語課都比較散漫，整個課堂都鬧哄哄的，而且我們的老師水平似乎也不高。那個時候，我對英語并不感興趣。

直到五年級，我們換了一個英語老師，這個新老師長得很漂亮，英語說得很好，我很喜歡她。剛開始，我是因為她的美貌，想讓她注意我，才在課堂上認真聽講的。后來，我學進去之后，才發現英語很有意思，也很“好學”，因此，我對英語產生來濃厚的興趣。

有一回，我在超市買東西，偶然地看到了一個外國人，因為在那之前我從未看到過外國人，所以對她很好奇。金黃色的長發，棕色的眼睛，高挺的.鼻子，簡直是深深地迷住了我。我那時就一直看著她，當然，我知道這樣是很不禮貌的，可是我就是對她充滿了好奇心。我很想走過去和她說幾句話，可是我又不敢。后來，她好像注意到了我，對我笑了一笑。她這一笑簡直是讓我欣喜若狂，在那一刻，我就下定決心一定要學好英語，一定要能和外國人流利地交談。

從此我就經常去找英語老師，向老師了解一些關于外國和英語有關的事。

現在初中了，我還是對英語有濃厚的興趣。黃老師很親切，每次看到她，就像是看到老熟人一樣。我很喜歡上她的課，有時我都巴不得一整天都上英語課。英語課很輕松，幾乎都是洋溢著笑聲的。黃老師還能說一口流利的英文，可以完全聽懂老外的話，也可以流利地和老外交流，這一點，我特別羨慕黃老師。她是我的偶像，是我的榜樣，我要像她看齊（雖然她是我的老師）。

班上很多人覺得我上英語課和外教可很激動，確實，我承認，但這也是我喜歡英語的一種方式。我對英語有一種莫名的喜歡，看到老外，我就像是吃了興奮一樣，就算原本不高興也會變得很高興。

上外教課時，我會很認真地聽講，雖然有很多聽不懂，老外抽問時，我也都會積極地舉手發言，哪怕是回答不了。我也不會覺得丟臉，因為我站起來回答問題，也是給自己的一次鍛煉機會，同時也和老外多接觸了一次，所以，哪怕是回答不了問題，我也是很開心的。

這個暑假我去看了上海的世博會，我在世博園里大開了眼界，里面有好多的外國人。每看到外國人我都會主動上去邀請他們和我一起拍照。剛開始和老外交流時，我有些害怕，怕自己說不好英語，但是那些熱情的外國人個給予了我勇氣，讓我敢于大聲發出邀請，“Can you teke photos with me？”（你能和我一起拍照嗎？）當然，在和外國人交涉的時候我也碰過壁，那是在地鐵站里，我看到一個外國人，我很開心地看來他一眼，可他卻皺著眉頭，用不標準的普通話說“不要看我?！边@句話讓當時的我很是尷尬，因為我從未碰到過這種狀況，這次的事，讓我注意起對待老外的應有禮節，但這并不影響我對英語的熱愛。

從小學到現在，我對英語的熱愛是越來越深。

Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshne; it is the freshneof the deep springs of life . Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals. Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being 's heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what's next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there's a wirelestation : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young . When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80. Everyone has a dream.Now I'll talk about my dream.What is my dream? I often ask myself.When I was a little girl, my dream was really simple, just like other kids who were at my age, I dreamed of being a teacher.I wanted to play with my students every day.Now I am a young girl with a new dream —— to be a psychologist.Maybe that sounds unusual and amazing, but I really want to be a famous psychologist who can help the sick people and save their lives.Why did my dream change? My hometown

Have you ever heard Huangyan Miju? And have you ever heard a beautiful park called Jiufeng Park? If not, I would like to tell you about my hometown, Huangyan.Huangyan is in the east of Zhejiang.It is a good place for people to live.The air is always fresh.There are four seasons all year round.And summer isn’t very hot, while winter isn’t very cold.Huangyan has lots of sights.It is an excellent place to go sightseeing.For example, if you like climbing mountains, you can go to Fang Mountains.When you stand at the top of the mountain, you can see almost all Huangyan town.You will be relaxed and forget all your problems.And if you want to see the falls, you can go to Fushan.There you can enjoy yourself.The oranges in Huangyan are very famous.There are lots of different kinds among oranges.You can choose what you like.As for me, I like Bendizao best.People in Huangyan are friendly.Everyone always smiles because they love their life.Now are you interested in my hometown Huangyan?

If I Were a boy

I am a girl, but I always think about one thing.What would my life be like if I were a boy? Some people may think it is pretty different from the life now I have so it would be very difficult, but others may think it’s so exciting that they want to try it.If I were a boy, everything must be changed.For example, If I were a boy, of course I wouldn’t wear dress.In stead, I would wear jeans and T-shirts.And my hobby should be changed.Perhaps I wouldn’t love superjunior any more and I wouldn’t be mad about them.If I were a boy, I would be more interested in sports, especially basketball.Maybe I would talk about NBA or something else about basketball with my friends.If I were a boy, I would be more outgoing than I was a girl.Maybe I wouldn’t be afraid of speaking in public.However,there would be more new problems if I were a boy.Perhaps I would be careless and may get into trouble.Because of it, I would not get on well with others.In a word, no matter a girl or a boy, she or he always has her or his own problems.I can’t be a boy, so I will try my best to be a happy girl.My Views On School Uniform

At our school , we have to wear uniforms every day.I would like to talk about my views on school uniform.I think the biggest problem is that almost all the students think the uniforms are ugly.Because we think young people should look smart and so we would like to wear our own clothes.But our teachers don’t think so.Our teachers believe that if we do that, we would concentrate more on our clothes than our studies.We disagree.We should feel more comfortable and that will be good for our study.In my own opinion, I think If we can’t do that, at least we should be allowed to design our own uniforms.We also think everyone should be different from others because everyone is different from each other.Maybe it is the best way to keep both teachers and students happy.My Winter Holiday

It’s a longer winter holiday for us than before.From February 1st to February 25th is our winter holiday.Though I had much homework to do, I still had a great time during my winter holiday.February 14th is our Chinese traditional festival —— Spring Festival.To celebrate the new year, all my family were busy preparing for this festival.On February 12th, I went shopping with my mother.We bought lots of food, such as nuts, candy, biscuits and drinks.On February 13th morning, my parents cleaned up the whole house.And I placarded couplet on the door.In the afternoon, we went to my grandparents’ home to have a get-together dinner.The food was really delicious, I enjoyed dumplings very much because I made dumplings myself.After meal, I received a red bag from my grandparents and I said thanks to them.In the evening, we fired a gun and watched TV until new year came.Another thing made me excited was that my birthday was on February 16th.On that day, I received many things from my friends and relatives.I was also very glad that I had grown up and I am 16 years old now.It was really an unforgettable winter holiday！
