光棍節傳說中，有四個男人，當然都是光棍，也就是沒老婆沒女朋友沒情人也沒某某伴侶的那種。他們聚在一起搓麻將。從上午11點打到晚上11點。

輸贏倒是次要的，奇怪的是，搓麻過程中，不論是誰和牌，自摸或者接炮，都是和四條。于是自始至終，都在，四條，四條，四條。最后有輸得多的人火了，拍桌子說，四條四條，四條什么啊?另外三個說，四條就四條，還四條什么。

四條什么?這本來不算個問題，麻將牌里，四條就是四條，沒有四條什么的說話。不過，打完麻將，他們一起去沖澡，把衣服褲子一脫，答案很快就出來了。輸錢的那個人，十分興奮，邊沖水邊歡呼，我知道四條什么了，我知道四條什么了!

光棍節后來，這四個光棍為了紀念終于知道四條是什么，特把這個設為光棍節。事有湊巧，這天剛好是11月11日，日歷上，剛剛好，不多不少，也就是四條……

光棍節的來歷之一：校園篇

十一月十一日，是年輕人的一個另類節日，因為這一天的日期里面有連續四個“一”的緣故，這個日子便被定為“光棍節”。

“光棍節”，既非“土節”又非“洋節”，乃于上世紀九十年代初誕生于南京高校，是校園趣味文化的代表產品之一。隨著一批批學子告別校園，近兩年“光棍節”的氣氛，竟然漸漸向社會彌散，如今，也已經成為南京年輕人的一個特別日子。這兩天，記者發現網絡社區“西祠胡同”上，有關“光棍節”聚會的消息漸漸增多，雖然主體活動依舊是飯局，但強調“aa制”似乎成為這個節日個性獨立、彼此尊重的一個標志。南京長江花園附近的茶餐廳浦菲站，十一日全天的包房早早被預訂出去了，據說是七、八位年輕人要在這個特別的日子進行一次“相親式聚會”。

據說，《單身情歌》將成為這天的熱門歌曲，在“光棍節”，借這首歌唱出“找一個最愛的深愛的想愛的親愛的人來告別單身”，這唱詞，其實也是年輕人的愛情宣言。“光棍節”的熱鬧聚會是都市年輕人渴望愛情的一種熾烈表達。

因為“單身”而誕生了一個特別紀念日，不過也有一些年輕人愛在這個特別的日子里結婚。南京的媒體從業人員小虞在十一月十一日結婚。他說選擇這一天，首先取意于一心一意、一生一世的喻意；其次，從單身到結婚，算是走過了起步階段。而在喜帖發出后，小虞身邊的朋友紛紛打來電話提醒說這天是“光棍節”呀，他聽后不僅不改期，反而覺得更有意思，因為他是在這個特別的日子結束單身，便更有紀念意義了。

光棍節的來歷之三：神話篇

據說這個節起源于800多年前，也就是11XX年11月11日，那天光棍達到和創紀錄的8條。

其實，設立這個節是上帝的意思。耶穌誕生那天，也就是公元1年1月1日，第一個光棍誕生了（耶穌到底是不是光棍啊）。此后每年的這一天都成為一些光棍紀念的日子，可是真正成為節日，則是1000多年以后的11XX年11月11日。其實，說耶穌是第一光棍，并不是說在他之前這個世界上不存在光棍。那樣的話，當時的這個世界豈不成了人間樂土了嗎？那上帝也就不用派耶穌來拯救人類了。只不過耶穌成了最有名的光棍。其實舉個不恰當的比喻，總統的夫人不是叫第一夫人嗎？那并不是說在她這前就沒有夫人了。我這么說大家就明白了吧？

Why is Singles' Day so popular？I summarized four reasons, the first is that we have been grown-ups, the Children’s day no longer belongs to us so we need this festival especially for young people.The second reason, there are still too many bachelors in universities which I don’t need to explain.The third one is that The day gives people an excuse to relax themselves.The last one is that Shopping discounts and special offer appeal them so much that they can not help to shopping on the Internet.8

今天是2002年11月11日，所謂是百年一見的的光棍節。

光棍節是一種流傳于年輕人的娛樂性節日，以慶祝自己仍是單身一族為傲（“光棍”的意思便是“單身”）。光棍節產生于校園，并通過網絡等媒介傳播，逐漸形成了一種光棍節的文化。1月1日是小光棍節，1月11日和11月1日是中光棍節，而11月11日由于有4個1，所以被稱為大光棍節，一般光棍節則指11月11日的大光棍節。帶11尾年份的11月11日是超級光棍節，例如11年11月11日。1111年11月11日是萬年一遇的頂級光棍節，2011年11月11日是本世紀百年一遇的超級光棍節（稱“神棍節”）。今年流行“結混”過節。

今天是就是百年一見的光棍節，是超級光棍節。
