Feet are man's second heart and are indispensable throughout our lifetime.Our feet are constantly subjected to the stress and strain of everyday life.Have you ever wondered who started to wear the first pair of shoes and how people invented shoes? Throughout history and across cultures, the function of shoes becomes more and more important.The main function of shoes is to protect our feet from the cold, the wet and injuries.Besides, shoes have taken on a vast variety of other functions.For example, sport shoes protect us when we do bodybuilding exercises.Casual shoes provide natural comfort.Sandals mean breath ability.High-heeled shoes make women straight and elegant.What's more, there are many kinds of health care shoes that can ease the pain of our feet.Shoes combine people's needs, fashion and even health care together.So do purchase shoes of high quality.You can get what you pay for and shoes are much cheaper than doctors, aren’t they?

It's obvious that shoes are made for the shielding of feet but aside from their practical function, shoes can help tell the personality, economic and social status, values and even life styles of the person who wears them.The importance of shoes is immovable and shoes can never be replaced.We may overlook them, we may belittle their importance, but shoes will always say something about who we are, what we do, where we've been and where we're going.At last, my dear friends, let's enjoy life with our best shoes!

I once came across an American tourist.She said, “China has a history of five thousand years, but the US only has a history of 200 years.Five thousand years ago, China took the lead in the world, and now it is the US that is leading.”My heart was deeply touched by these words.It is true that we're still a developing nation, but it doesn't mean that we can despise(鄙視)ourselves.We have such a long-standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, and we have enough to be proud of.We have reasons to say proudly： we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition(雄心)is even bigger, our challenges(挑戰(zhàn))are great, but our will is even greater.I am Chinese.I have inherited(繼承)black hair and black eyes.I have inherited the virtues of my ancestors.I have also taken over
