其實不同的顏色在不同的語境中是有講究的。

red（紅色）：無論在英語國家還是在中國，紅色往往與慶?；顒踊蛳矐c日子有關。英語里有red-letter days（紀念日，喜慶的日子），在西方一般指圣誕節或其他節日，因為這些日子在日歷上是用紅色標明的，所以red-letter的轉義就是“可紀念的”、“喜慶的”。（普通的日子印的是黑色，但black－letter day卻不是“平常的日子”，而表示“倒霉的一天”。）又如to paint the town red表示“狂歡”、“痛飲”、“胡鬧”，多指夜生活中的狂歡作樂，飲酒胡鬧，不是“把全城染紅”。

White（白色）：對多數中國人和西方人來說，白色所引起的聯想有一些是相近的：purity（潔白）, innocence（清白無辜）。但英語中的white lie 這個短語是什么意思呢？謊言還能“清白”、“無罪”、“天真”或“單純”嗎？回答是：a white lie 指“不懷惡意的謊言”。

Black(黑色)：在英語和漢語中都有不少詞語表明black（黑）與“不好的”、“壞的”、“邪惡的”特征相聯系。如：blacklist（黑名單），black market（黑市），black-hearted（黑心的），black sheep（害群之馬）等。

Blue（藍色）：在英語中藍色通常表示不快。如in a blue mood 或having the blues 表示“情緒低沉”、“憂郁”、“沮喪”、“煩悶”，在a blue Monday（倒霉的星期一）中，blue 也表示類似的意思——過了愉快、幸福的周末，星期一又要上班或上學了，所以情緒不佳。如：It was blue Monday and he just didn't feel like going back to work.Green（綠色）：除了green with envy，英語中還有green-eyed monster和green-eyed，都表示“嫉妒”。可是，常用來表示“嫉妒”的漢語卻是“眼紅”（或“害了紅眼病”），英語直譯為red－eyed,恰好與英語green－eyed相反。

伴隨著中國綜合國力的發展，中國正在以古老而神秘的文化向世界展示其獨特的魅力。英語作為一項重要的交流工具，成為很多中國人必學的科目。著名語言學家WILKINS說過“沒有語法只能傳達很少的信息，沒有詞匯則什么也無法傳達?！笨梢妴卧~在英語學習中的重要性。由于英語單詞浩如煙海，讀音亦是變化多端，這對于初學者來說是十分困難的。這其實也在很大程度上影響了學習者對英語的掌握和生活中的社交。

一、英語教學中出現的問題

2.對比學習，高效記憶。面對英語這樣的新知識，在沒有英語的大環境中，學生特別是小學生很難融入英語學習中去。教師往往可以借助母語來幫助學生的學習。如Mongolian(蒙古人)可以教學生們一句順口溜：蒙古人周一去大連。Mon是周一的簡寫，go是英語中去的意思，很容易記住，lian是“連”的漢語拼音。這樣可以使學生的記憶變成一個有趣而富有創造力的過程。當然，我們還可以在中英文的對比中記憶單詞。比如tall，short，big，small等這樣的反義詞，可以借助中文含義，幫助學生們記憶。還可以搞一個小型的比賽，由學生們找出一個詞語的反義詞，近義詞，以促進學生對詞匯學習的鞏固。

3.聯想教育，擴展學生們的詞匯。英語詞匯包含大量的詞根，詞綴，將他們串聯一起幫助學生們記憶也是一個非常好的辦法。比如happy，學生們可以想到unhappy，happiness 等，這樣學習一個單詞的同時，也很容易的就學會了另外兩個單詞。以點帶面也是一個非常好的方法，諸如提到head，學生們可以想到hair，eye，nose，mouse這樣可以簡化學生們的記憶過程，真正達到感知，理解和記憶的目的。

三、英語詞匯教學中應該注意的幾個問題

1.開展游戲的同時注意紀律性，保證學生們的安全。小學生的心智還不夠成熟，活潑好動，在游戲中難免會出現大喊大叫和追跑打鬧的現象。所以教師在開展游戲活動之前要與學生們“約法三章”，同學們講好游戲的規則。這樣既是保證課堂紀律，也是保證學生們的安全，畢竟安全才是第一位的。

2.確保游戲的公平性，獎罰分明。爭強好勝也是小學學生這個階段的主要特點之一，游戲的競爭機制無疑激發了他們這一天性。游戲的結果和教師對他的評價，學生的心里是非常在乎的。不公平的結果，獎罰不夠分明不僅打擊了他們的自尊心，甚至會對他們的心里蒙上一層陰影。不僅在心理上對教師產生排斥還會使他們對生活中的某些事情造成錯誤的解讀。所以，明確獎罰制度，適時的給予學生鼓勵和表揚，都更有利于學生們對英語的學習。

3.注意適度的游戲，確保全班學生的參與。游戲是輔助學生學習的手段，而不是目的。很多教師在開展游戲活動的時候，游戲設置的過多，學生們很難全身心投入到學習中去。也就是學生的注意力都集中在游戲上，而忽略了詞匯的學習。還有很多教師忽略了個別學生的性格特點和能力，將游戲的難度設置的過高，這就很難保證班上的每一個學生都參與到其中去。這樣不僅不利于英語詞匯的學習，更會讓他們有一種被忽視的感覺，同樣會影響學生們的心理成長。

總之，在詞匯教學中，教師要從學生的角度出發，變革傳統的教學方式，充分發揮學生的積極主動創造性，來讓學生們不再學習“漢式英語”。
