MYschool

My school’s name is Bansanpasak.My director’s name is Mr.PikadKadtipan.He is 58 years old , a very nice kind and active working man.Bansanpasakschool is located in the NongKwai , Hangdong district, Chiangmai, Thailand since the year 1916.And now, it is 95 years old and very old as old as my grandfather’s age.North of my school is Kunse village and it is near my school.If you ask for directions to my school, you will be told that it is neat Sanpasak market.South of my school is the market.It is next to my school just a minute’s walk.East of my school is placed Bansanpak village.The are 56 teachers working for my school,8 male teachers and 48 female teachers.There are 850 students who are in the kindergarten and in the secondary school.There are some labs in my school : mathematics lab, science lab, computer room and English sound lab.The special activities groups are Artist, Dancing, English , and Music.It is done in the last period of Tuesday.And we also have a big library, which is necessary for the classes.It is quite a good room, clean , tidy and with lots of

interesting books for reading.We learn 8 subjects in our school: Thai, mathematics, science, history, social, art , health and English.The daily program of the school is:

School begins at 8:15 a.m.All the students are in groups doing national activities ,and the students also learn spelling before going back to the classes.The first class starts by 9:00 a.m.There are subjects in the morning from 9 to 12and then we stop for lunch for one hour.We have more classes from 1 p.m.and finish them at 4 p.m.The students go back home from school at around 4:30 everyday.My school is lucky to have many experienced teachers.They are excellent teachers who make us excellent.We feel warm and happy when we are in school because of teachers’ goodness and patience.So the students are willing to go to school everyday.And I love my teachers very much too.I want to become a good person and do the right thingsas my teachers want.My school stands on an small area of land though, there are 4 big buildings used for the students’ classrooms.Three of them are made of concrete and one another ,the oldest one is made of wood.I would like to tell you about each of them.The first two

buildings which have three floors with 9 big rooms.One is for students of grade 4,5and 6 ,and the other is for grade seven to nine.The third building which has two floors contains 6 classes for the students grade two to three.And this building is the oldest one in my school.The fourth building only have two floors too, which is smaller than the others.There is a big Buddha put in front of the school for us to respect when we arrive at school.I’ve just remembered the kindergarten is at the back of school.It is next to the canteen and the farm.Our school can provide students with clean drinking water.There are many green trees around school to make it a better place for studying.The students in my school study very hard.Every year ,some of them can win the competitions ,and our parents are proud of us.At last, I want to say :I feel really happy studying in this school.It is the first school I attended.I have never been to any other schools before and I don’t know how different they are, but I am very proud to be a student here and when I have my own children in the future ,I will take them to this school too.

About School of Mechanical Engineering in Xi’an Jiaotong University

Submitted by root on Fri, 12/31/2010-10:31 School of Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest majors of Xi’anJiaotong University.It was restructured(改組)and developed from the original Mechanical Engineering Department and Mechanology(機械學)Department ,and was formally(正式的)built up after the reshuffling of schools and departments in June,1994.In the school,there are 3 first class subjects authorized(授權)to offer 6 doctoral programs and 7 master’s degree programs.The school has also a State Key Laboratory of Manufacturing System and a Post-doctoral(博士后)Research Station of Mechanical Engineering which is among the first established post-doctoral research stations in China.At present,the school has about 200 teaching and administrative(行政)staff members ,including 60 professors,3 chief committee men of the State Teaching Instruction Committee for Basic Courses and 10 committee members of the State Instruction Committee for Specialty Basic Courses.The school is composed of 4 departments,3 teaching offices of basic courses,2 experiment centers, 12 research institutes(學院)and 1 training center.Over the past five years,5 state-level and 47 province-and ministry-level awards for teaching and research fruits have been obtained by the school.At present,the fund(基金)or outlay(經費)on scientific research has reached up to 10 million a year.The school has rich scientific research and intellectual(知識分子)resources ,and has formed its own characteristics in such scientific fields as RP&M, intelligent instrument(智能儀器)and monitoring inspection(自動檢測),NC technology(數控技術),laser(激光)and infrared(紅外)application ,vibration and noise control ,new materials preparation and surface engineering.Some research work has enjoyed high reputation at home and abroad.In the resent years ,with the development of electronic and information technology,computer science and laser machining ,the school has obtained remarkable scientific research achievements in RP technology, mechatronics and control technology, computer emulation and numerical analogue in solidification of metals.Especially the research on advanced manufacturing technology featuring rapid prototyping and manufacturing rose high abruptly above others ,taking a leading position in this field of the country.In addition, the newly established specialty-Industrial Design is posturing a completely new image to emulate the advanced domestic and international levels.The school has established comprehensive system for the fostering ,education and management of graduates.At present ,there are 200 master degree candidates and the same number of PhD candidates in the school.Being one of the earliest units to carry out the enrolling and fostering of masters of engineering ,the school can provide the program for masters of engineering in mechanical engineering and material science.Since 1998 the enrolled students pursuing master of engineering have reached 240.In undergraduate education, the school places emphasis on practice and innovation, aiming at fostering students with solid theoretical foundation and plentiful expertise as well as strong ability to analyze and solve practical engineering problems.The goal of the school is to nurture all-round and universal trans-century talents.The leading group of the school adheres to the following principle: Unite earnestly and sincerely, Perform one’s duty honestly, Aspire to make innovation, and Get over difficulties to forge ahead!We earnestly hope to conduct close cooperation and extensive academic exchange with our peers, enterprises and research institutes from home and abroad so as to make great contributions to the vitalization o machinery science.
