目前,我們英語(yǔ)老師面臨的重要問(wèn)題就是如何幫助學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)好各單元的大量詞匯。七年級(jí)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)總的來(lái)說(shuō)是單詞與句型的教學(xué)。只要學(xué)生能正確地讀準(zhǔn)英語(yǔ)單詞,并且能背會(huì)英語(yǔ)單詞及漢語(yǔ)意思,再根據(jù)所學(xué)句型進(jìn)行單詞替換練習(xí),就能達(dá)到教學(xué)目標(biāo),所以七年級(jí)英語(yǔ)教學(xué)的關(guān)鍵是單詞教學(xué)。
我認(rèn)為:在詞匯教學(xué)中,首先要教學(xué)好單詞的發(fā)音和拼寫(xiě),學(xué)生會(huì)讀會(huì)拼,才能為繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)單詞的其他方面奠定基礎(chǔ)。在教學(xué)中,教師必須確保準(zhǔn)確地、清晰地、緩慢地呈現(xiàn)這些單詞的發(fā)音和拼寫(xiě),這樣學(xué)生才能準(zhǔn)確地學(xué)習(xí)單詞的發(fā)音和拼寫(xiě)。在呈現(xiàn)詞匯時(shí),利用圖示法,盡量用多媒體課件中的圖片呈現(xiàn)一些單詞,如本課學(xué)習(xí)的詞匯水果、蔬菜、肉類(lèi)、飲料等等,也可以適當(dāng)拓展一些學(xué)生感興趣的相關(guān)詞匯。把學(xué)生從簡(jiǎn)單機(jī)械重復(fù)、死記硬背的枷鎖里解脫出來(lái),增加詞匯學(xué)習(xí)的趣味性,增強(qiáng)學(xué)習(xí)信心。
其次,對(duì)單詞進(jìn)行分類(lèi)、歸納學(xué)習(xí)。如本課學(xué)習(xí)食品類(lèi)的詞匯,包括水果、蔬菜、肉類(lèi)、食品、飲料等等,同時(shí)又有可數(shù)名詞和不可數(shù)名詞之分。通過(guò)圖片展示各種水果、蔬菜、肉類(lèi)、食品、飲料等讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行歸納分類(lèi),學(xué)生很快就能對(duì)這些食品進(jìn)行分類(lèi)。可數(shù)名詞有水果、蔬菜、部分食品,不可數(shù)名詞有肉類(lèi)、部分食品、飲料等。一目了然,學(xué)生看的清楚,記的牢固,自然對(duì)單詞記憶產(chǎn)生了濃厚興趣,同時(shí)也培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生觀察、記憶、思維、想象、創(chuàng)造和自主學(xué)習(xí)的能力。
再次,通過(guò)語(yǔ)境練習(xí)進(jìn)行記憶詞匯,提高詞匯的復(fù)現(xiàn)率。如本課學(xué)習(xí)運(yùn)用句型What would you like? I’d like some noodles.通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí)運(yùn)用這種句型使學(xué)生既記憶了詞匯也學(xué)習(xí)了句型。學(xué)生在操練句型時(shí),可以把他們分成小組。通過(guò)小組進(jìn)行練習(xí)句型,并且給表現(xiàn)出色的小組加分,或是畫(huà)小紅花,小紅旗等。促進(jìn)小組的合作意思,增強(qiáng)小組的集體意識(shí),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的小組合作能力和學(xué)習(xí)探究的能力。
詞匯教學(xué)是英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的重要任務(wù),也是英語(yǔ)課堂教學(xué)的重要內(nèi)容。目前初中英語(yǔ)課本詞匯大量增加,大大增加了學(xué)生的記憶負(fù)擔(dān)。因此,我們老師要努力探索詞匯教學(xué)的好方法,努力培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣和積極性,提高學(xué)生英語(yǔ)的應(yīng)用能力和交際能力。

上完英語(yǔ)課后,我總會(huì)幻想著有一種方法法,能讓學(xué)生輕輕松松把英語(yǔ)學(xué)好,哪怕自己多花點(diǎn)精力和時(shí)間。有時(shí)想來(lái),自己的教學(xué)效率實(shí)在是太低了,一個(gè)問(wèn)題重復(fù)了好幾次,可學(xué)生還是一問(wèn)三不知,我不由地懷疑自己的教學(xué)方法。
與此同時(shí),這段時(shí)間我會(huì)抽出點(diǎn)晚自習(xí)的時(shí)間讓學(xué)生記憶我指定的單詞。首先領(lǐng)讀,再分開(kāi)音節(jié),講一講英語(yǔ)的拼讀規(guī)則,發(fā)現(xiàn)學(xué)生的記憶效率大大提高了。而且正確率也提高了不少,包括那幾個(gè)后進(jìn)生都能有所獲。這更讓我有理由懷疑自己的教學(xué)方法是不是不適合學(xué)生的實(shí)際。
有天吃早餐,我突發(fā)奇想,是不是應(yīng)給學(xué)生一點(diǎn)時(shí)間,讓他們把每單元幾句重點(diǎn)句背下來(lái)更好呢?單詞需要積累,這點(diǎn)毋庸置疑。對(duì)于我我們的學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō),典型的句子同樣需要積累,句子背下來(lái),在用的時(shí)候就可以舉一反三,就像語(yǔ)文中背誦范文一樣。對(duì)于我們這些基礎(chǔ)較差的學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō),他們?cè)诮浑H時(shí)需要模仿。在他們的記憶庫(kù)中要貯存是十分必要的。當(dāng)然,如果學(xué)生能夠在課堂上用英語(yǔ)去表達(dá)的話(huà),說(shuō)明這些典型的句子他們已經(jīng)掌握。但現(xiàn)實(shí)的情況是,這種方法更容易適用于基礎(chǔ)較好的學(xué)生,很多學(xué)生只是充當(dāng)觀眾。讓學(xué)生死記硬背是不對(duì)的,但不讓學(xué)生背也是不對(duì)的。

在本課時(shí)的設(shè)計(jì)中,我采用多種教學(xué)方法給學(xué)生創(chuàng)造一個(gè)活潑愉快的課堂,通過(guò)不同的教學(xué)方式去呈現(xiàn)教學(xué)任務(wù),不脫離課本卻又高于課本。學(xué)生能掌握主要內(nèi)容和課時(shí)難點(diǎn)。反復(fù)操練重點(diǎn)句型,訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀的能力,使得學(xué)生積極參與課堂活動(dòng)當(dāng)中。學(xué)生參與面廣, 不同層次的學(xué)生均有所獲。基礎(chǔ)較差學(xué)生能運(yùn)用所學(xué)句型進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單的交際練習(xí)。英語(yǔ)能力較強(qiáng)的學(xué)生則進(jìn)行了閱讀短文回答問(wèn)題和口頭練習(xí),語(yǔ)言能力拓展達(dá)到一定深度和廣度。從而提高了學(xué)生的整體水平。
通過(guò)本節(jié)課的教學(xué)實(shí)踐,我認(rèn)識(shí)到教學(xué)成功與否,學(xué)生掌握程度如何,關(guān)建在于教師如何創(chuàng)造性地設(shè)計(jì)課堂教學(xué)。任務(wù)的設(shè)計(jì)要體現(xiàn)多樣化和層次感;面對(duì)不同的學(xué)生群體,任務(wù)的難度系數(shù)是可以調(diào)控的;而面對(duì)同一群體里的不同程度的學(xué)生,教師可以抓住學(xué)生的心理特點(diǎn),一開(kāi)始就用他們樂(lè)于參與到課堂中去,調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的積極性和主動(dòng)性,同時(shí)起到了復(fù)習(xí)的作用.在復(fù)習(xí)完What did you go?和How was your school tirp?后,再次引入free talk “a weekend”,更進(jìn)一步活躍課堂增加生生互動(dòng),同時(shí)起到新舊知識(shí)整合的作用.在目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言的呈現(xiàn)方面,采用了讓學(xué)生自己找語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)的辦法和老師提問(wèn)的辦法,讓學(xué)生掌握主語(yǔ)+動(dòng)詞過(guò)去式+其他。結(jié)構(gòu),在聽(tīng),說(shuō)能力訓(xùn)練的同時(shí),本節(jié)課對(duì)讀,寫(xiě)能力訓(xùn)練也設(shè)計(jì)了一定內(nèi)容(pairwork homework).總之,本節(jié)課注重初中學(xué)生的心理特征,設(shè)計(jì)活潑,有趣,參與性強(qiáng),參與面廣的課堂活動(dòng),注重師生互動(dòng),強(qiáng)調(diào)新舊知識(shí)的結(jié)合,在強(qiáng)化聽(tīng),說(shuō)能力的同時(shí),也進(jìn)行了必要的讀寫(xiě)訓(xùn)練。使各項(xiàng)能力平衡發(fā)展,而且讓學(xué)生通過(guò)談?wù)撏ㄟ^(guò)討論將來(lái)的職業(yè),讓學(xué)生從小樹(shù)立遠(yuǎn)大的生活目標(biāo),通過(guò)小組活動(dòng),啟發(fā)學(xué)生思維,培養(yǎng)合作意識(shí)。

這個(gè)單元展示了一幅幅童年生活的畫(huà)卷,它們均是作家奇思妙想的產(chǎn)物。四位作家展開(kāi)想象的翅膀帶領(lǐng)讀者飛翔,從人間到天上,從事物到人物,從現(xiàn)實(shí)到未來(lái),在讀者眼前展現(xiàn)了一幅幅五彩繽紛,瑰麗神奇,如夢(mèng)如幻,抑或光怪陸離的畫(huà)卷,令人賞心悅目,神思飛揚(yáng),忍俊不禁,嘆為觀止。教學(xué)本單元重視了培養(yǎng)學(xué)生良好的語(yǔ)感和整體把握的能力;啟發(fā)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生初步認(rèn)識(shí)“聯(lián)想”“想象”和“夸張”的作用;欣賞課文中生動(dòng)的描寫(xiě)和故事情節(jié),增強(qiáng)對(duì)文學(xué)作品的閱讀興趣;給學(xué)生插上想象的翅膀,在閱讀和寫(xiě)作中讓思想自由地飛翔。要引導(dǎo)學(xué)生反復(fù)朗讀,細(xì)細(xì)地品味,或扮演角色體驗(yàn),體會(huì)其生動(dòng)優(yōu)美的語(yǔ)言,進(jìn)入其奇妙深邃的意境,認(rèn)識(shí)其鮮明獨(dú)特的意象,感知其豐富多彩的內(nèi)容,解讀其含蓄深刻的思想。要注意熏陶感染,提高學(xué)生的文化品位和審美情趣,激發(fā)其熱愛(ài)生活、熱愛(ài)大自然,追求幸福、追求光明的熱情,培養(yǎng)其善良正直樂(lè)于奉獻(xiàn)、頑強(qiáng)執(zhí)著、誠(chéng)實(shí)勇敢的品格,使學(xué)生逐步形成積極的人生態(tài)度和正確的價(jià)值觀。
怎樣實(shí)現(xiàn)以上單元教學(xué)目標(biāo)呢?
一、引導(dǎo)朗讀、感知、品味,激發(fā)想象力,增長(zhǎng)語(yǔ)文知識(shí)。本單元課文文質(zhì)兼美,朗讀在本單元的教學(xué)中尤其具有重要意義。人事物景宜在朗讀中感知,優(yōu)美的語(yǔ)言宜在朗讀中體會(huì),思想意義宜在朗讀中解讀,語(yǔ)文知識(shí)可在朗讀中掌握,良好的語(yǔ)感可在朗讀中增強(qiáng),整體把握、獨(dú)特體驗(yàn)等語(yǔ)文能力可在朗讀中提高。在感知、體會(huì)、解讀中,想象力可以得到調(diào)動(dòng)和激發(fā)。朗讀采取教師范讀,教師帶讀、師生分讀、學(xué)生朗讀、自由選讀等多種形式。尊重學(xué)生個(gè)性,滿(mǎn)足學(xué)生不同需求。在意象的感悟和思想內(nèi)容的理解方面尤其要尊重學(xué)生的獨(dú)特體驗(yàn)。
二、演示多媒體課件,使學(xué)生提升想象力,看到想象力的發(fā)展空間。精心設(shè)計(jì)好多媒體可件,并安排好演示的最佳時(shí)間。在“引入”的環(huán)節(jié)就演示課件,在激趣上也許可以收到良好的效果。但這樣往往會(huì)局限甚至代替學(xué)生的想象,使學(xué)生的想象在意境、意象、構(gòu)圖、色彩等方面,難以跳出課件已展現(xiàn)的“框框”。在學(xué)生朗讀、感知、品味、想象的基礎(chǔ)上演示多媒體課件,則可以使學(xué)生看到自己想象力的發(fā)展空間,產(chǎn)生發(fā)展需求,提升想象力。還要讓學(xué)生明白牢記:不管聯(lián)想和想象的翅膀怎樣高飛遠(yuǎn)翔,始終只有一個(gè)目的—表達(dá)作者心底的情感和愿望。
三、指導(dǎo)分角色朗讀或表演課本劇,運(yùn)用想象力,培養(yǎng)良好情操和良好品格。要讓學(xué)生在朗讀中認(rèn)識(shí)感悟理解,還要讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)把自己的認(rèn)識(shí)感悟理解通過(guò)朗讀表現(xiàn)出來(lái),用抑揚(yáng)頓挫、高底緩急、感情色彩鮮明的聲音,充滿(mǎn)想象力和創(chuàng)造性朗讀,去因營(yíng)造意境,渲染氣氛,演繹故事,塑造形象。要感動(dòng)他人要先感動(dòng)自己,這就要求朗讀者除了認(rèn)識(shí)感悟理解,還要產(chǎn)生真情實(shí)感,并移情入文,移情入事,移情入人,移情入景。這是一個(gè)循序漸進(jìn)、逐漸提高的過(guò)程,初一學(xué)生不可能一不到位。教師必須重視這個(gè)過(guò)程。因?yàn)椋@個(gè)過(guò)程,正是熏陶感染、潛移默化地培養(yǎng)和形成學(xué)生美好情操與良好品格的過(guò)程。對(duì)未擔(dān)任角色的同學(xué)來(lái)說(shuō),這個(gè)過(guò)程,則是一個(gè)學(xué)習(xí)觀摩、培養(yǎng)興趣、找到差距、被感動(dòng)、被教育和提高欣賞評(píng)價(jià)能力的過(guò)程。
四、本單元課文與初一學(xué)生的生活實(shí)際和情感體驗(yàn)有較大的距離,有些語(yǔ)句有較大的理解難度。如《蔚藍(lán)的王國(guó)》中的“........周?chē)囊磺校禾炜铡⒑Q蟆⑽⑽h動(dòng)的風(fēng)帆,船尾潺潺的水流-----------一切都在傾訴著愛(ài)情,傾訴著無(wú)比幸福的愛(ài)情!”啟發(fā)引導(dǎo),化難為易,讓學(xué)生理解其含義。如果“跳”過(guò)去,則會(huì)影響對(duì)課文的完整理解;如果由教師直接“講”出來(lái),則弱化了思維訓(xùn)練,也取消了學(xué)生閱讀“過(guò)程”的美感體驗(yàn)。
