經典短文：《感恩》

有一個叫史蒂文斯的中年男人在一家公司里當程序員，他已經在這家軟件公司里干了八年。

然而，就在這一年，公司倒閉了。這時，史蒂文斯的第三個兒子剛剛降生，巨大的經濟壓力使他喘不過氣來。于是，史蒂文斯開始了漫長的找工作生涯。然而一個月過去了，他一無所獲。

一天，史蒂文斯在報上看到一家軟件公司要招聘程序員，待遇非常好。他立刻趕到公司，準備參加應聘。應聘的人數實在太多了，競爭將會異常激烈。
