明天的樹葉

天剛亮就起床掃落葉實在是一件苦差事，尤其是秋冬之際，林間的樹葉好像互相約定好了似的，總是不停地落下來。每天花大量的時間打掃落葉，讓男孩厭倦不已。后來，男孩從別人那里得到一個好主意，那就是掃地之前，先將樹使勁兒搖搖，這樣，就可以將第二天才會落下來的樹葉提前搖下來。如此一來，豈不省了明日之事？這個主意令男孩興奮不已，于是他起了個大早，掃地之前使勁兒將樹搖了又搖，這樣，他就把今明兩天的落葉全掃完了，那一天他非常開心。第二天，他起得很早，誰知到林間一看，依然是落葉滿地，男孩傻了眼……

評說玫瑰

笨鳥

近日，一間無人居住的房子的窗戶處，一只不知名的鳥兒總是每日準時光顧，遠遠望去，只見它站在窗臺上，不停地以頭撞擊玻璃窗，然后總被撞得落回窗臺；但它堅持不懈，每日總要撞十來分鐘，爾后又跌回窗臺，隨即離開。人們好奇心大發，紛紛猜測它大概是為了進那房間，而就在這鳥兒站立的窗臺旁邊，另一扇窗戶是大開的，于是，得出結論：這是一只大笨鳥。

直到有一天，好事者帶來望遠鏡，一切才真相大白：窗玻璃上粘滿了小飛螢的尸體，那鳥兒吃得不亦樂乎。

眾人嘩然。人們總喜歡將自己的思維方式強加于別人，而且自以為是。

多看一眼

一個調查者受命去查訪某地貧困的原因。出發前，有人告訴他，那兒的人特別好吃懶做，整天無所事事。他到了該地后，看見一個人在田里割草，那人坐在地上，割一會兒草就停下來歇一陣子。

調查者想，連割草都要坐著，這里的人真是懶得不可救藥了！他生氣地準備往回走，就在他轉身的一瞬間，不經意地往后一瞥，竟意外地看見那人的身旁放著兩根拐杖。

原來他是一個失去了雙腿的殘疾人……

生活中常是這樣：多看一眼，石破天驚……

友誼有價

天氣漸冷、寒冬將至時，女孩小瓊想為自己添臵一件新夾襖。

一天，小瓊在一家商店里相中了一件棗紅色的夾襖，一問價格是五十五無。為了不上當，小瓊又在附近找了好幾家商店，后來終于在一個小店里看到了同樣一件棗紅色的夾襖，更令她欣喜的是，店老板竟是昔日的好友小瑤。她們熱情地擁抱、問候，并交換了電話號碼。

小瑤見小瓊一直盯著那件夾襖看，便親切地說：“是不是看上了？這樣吧，看在老朋友的面上便宜些賣給你，就算你一百元吧。”說著，小瑤手腳麻利地將夾襖疊好，交給了小瓊。

小瓊付完錢后走了。

寒冬已過，那件棗紅色夾襖小瓊卻從未穿過，因為她怕它擋不住那刺骨的寒風……

最富的乞丐

下雨了，三個乞丐從不同的方向來到同一棵樹下，為爭一席干燥的地皮，相互打了起來，由于各有絕招，誰都沒占到那塊不漏雨的地方。雨越下越大，最后他們達成協議：誰最富，誰就坐到那片最濃密的樹陰下。

第一個乞丐端著一只大海碗，說：“我有十二只碗，我每天換一只。心情好時，我用一只好碗；心情壞時，我用一只壞碗。在東城區我用一只藍花碗，在西城區我用一只黑花碗，在南城區我用一只青花碗，在北城區我用一只金邊搪瓷碗。我每天都用不同的碗吃飯，難道我不富有嗎？”

第二個乞丐對第一個乞丐的表白不屑一顧，他放下背上背著的一卷草席，說：“這算什么富有？我才是真正的富人。我有十二張草席，我每晚想鋪幾張就鋪幾張，并且在南天橋的窯洞里有一張，在北天橋的窗洞里有一張，當然了，在東天橋、西天橋也都有我的草席。晚上我想到哪兒睡就到哪兒睡，就這樣隨心所欲，我難道不像個富人嗎？”

第三個乞丐腿有點瘸，他顫顫巍巍地挪了一下身子，說：“我不像你們那樣富有，但我有一條短了一截的腿。普天之下，誰能比一個短了腿的乞丐更富有？”

他話音未落，一個打著傘的婦人從這兒經過，很憐憫地在他的身旁丟了一枚硬幣。其他兩位乞丐面面相覷，最后，腿有殘疾的乞丐便坐到了最濃密的樹陰下。

在人類所有的詞匯中，“富有”是惟一沒定義的詞，并不是不能定義，而是能定義的人太多。

命運

有一天，上帝的使者來到了人間，他碰到了一位高僧正在為兩個孩子占卜前程，只見高僧指著其中一個孩子說“狀元”，然后又指著另一個孩子說“乞丐”。

二十年后，上帝的使者又來到了人間，看到了先前那兩個孩子，結果令他百思不解：當初的“狀元”如今成了乞丐，而當初的“乞丐”反而成了狀元。

于是，使者去問上帝。

上帝說：“我賦予每個人的天分只決定他命運的三分之一，而其余的則在于他如何去把握。” 人生就是這樣……

安靜

有人出了個題目給兩位畫家，題目是“安靜”，要他們各畫一張表達同一主題的畫。

第一位畫家畫了一個湖，湖面十分平靜，好似一面鏡子，另外還畫了些遠山和湖邊的花草，讓它們倒映在水中。

第二位畫家則畫了奔流直瀉的瀑布，瀑布旁邊有一棵小樹，樹上的一條小枝上安有一個鳥巢，鳥巢里有一只小鳥，小鳥正在恬靜地酣睡。

人們自然會說第二位畫家畫得高明，因為他才真正理解了安靜的含義；而第一位畫家所畫的湖面，靜雖靜矣，不過是一池死水罷了。

人生也是這樣。

很多時候，生活需要我們保持安靜的心態，但是，如果心如湖面，則不免會藏垢納污，遭致扭曲。小鳥則不同，它在湍急的瀑布邊也能安睡，一定是心存高遠，養精蓄銳，伺機而翔。

在鬧市中也能保持安靜的心態，成不驕敗不餒，順不恃逆不悔，才是人生的大境界。

愛說話的頭顱

一個獵人在灌木叢中撿到一顆老人的頭顱，獵人問：“你怎么會到這里來的？”頭顱回答：“是因為我愛說話的緣故。”獵人便跑到國王面前報告：“我在灌木叢中撿到一顆會說話的人頭。”

國王從未聽說過人頭會說話，他召來了大臣，詢問他們是否聽說過這樣的事，這些大臣盡管很聰明，但對這樣的奇事卻是聞所未聞，于是國王決定派一名衛士跟獵人一起去查看究竟，假如獵

人撒謊，就當即把他殺了。衛兵和獵人來到灌木叢中，獵人對頭顱說：“頭顱，說話！”頭顱沒有吱聲，獵人又像先前一樣問道：“你怎么會到這里來的？”頭顱仍不回答。獵人苦苦哀求頭顱開口說話，可是頭顱就是不作聲，于是衛兵就按國王的命令將獵人殺了。

衛兵剛離開灌木叢，頭顱就張口對獵人的頭說：“你怎么會到這里來的？”獵人的頭回答：“是因為我愛說話的緣故……”
