I want to be a doctor. This year is a special year. Disease has become a topic that everyone often talks about, and doctors have become unsung heroes. They fight the sickness day and night, in exchange for a safe and healthy life for us. So when I grow up, I also want to be a doctor and contribute my own strength. So now I have to study hard, because only if my knowledge reserve is strong enough, it is possible to contribute my strength someday in the future.

On the night of March 1, the 76th Annual Academy Awards was shown on television. After watching it, I had a dream, a sudden wish, that some day, I could receive an Oscar award, or a nomination, for a movie I've made.

While I was schooling in Australia, my friends from school andI received a n assignment one day, “To make a ten to twenty minute movie on the topic of your choice.” At the time, the trend was based around the popular Matrix movie trilogy, so that became our obvious choice.

Because our schedule was very tight, and it was a first time experience, we found it all very hard work, but when we released our production at school, it was worth it. After my friends and I showed the movie, we could not get from one end of the school to the other without getting congratulated about five or six times. We, especially I, were proud. We made a school-wide sensation.

From then on, I became obsessed with how to make movies and how filming is done. I just wanted to know about everyone and everything that has something to do with movies. I would watch a movie four to five times, just to find out how one camera angle, or

special effect was produced. I found everything I watched quite amazing. I sometimes admired directors and producers of these films because the techniques they use are so smart. Their cleverness inspired me to make and act in movies.

When I become little bit older, I would like to attend a movie academy in Beijing or Shanghai, then America, or England, after some training and experience, I would like to make a movie, which will most likely be an action movie, which is my favorite kind of movie to watch.. If I am lucky, I hope I would get an Oscar Award for this movie. I think that would be quite a challenge, but it’s not impossible. For now, it’s back to watching movies over and over again for me!

As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in our life. I don’t expect complete freedom, which is impossible. I simply have a dream that supports my life.

I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooks and lead my own life. With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the green grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. In 1963, Martin Luther King, Jr. gave a speech to the Negro，encourage them to fight for their equality with white man. I appreciate his brave, persistent and faith, and dream to be a person like him. Today, I find the distance between the reality and dream is a step-70 centimeters. When I stand the honor place, I tell a dream that I will spend my whole life to make it come true.

As we all know, at the beginning of 20xx, the fog and the haze lay over most cities. Most citizens, especially children, suffer from the respiratory disease. The paper, 《Analysis towards environmentally sustainable future state of the environment of the people's Republic of China》, reports that although Chinese government try to control of atmospheric pollution, there are also seven-tenth cities that the most seriously polluted in China. There are less than 1 percent of 500 big cities in China meeting the quality standards of World Health Organization. Does the world like this? Is there anyone tell me why it is contrary to my dream?

In my dream, people are wealthy, living the well-off life. Instead of hurrying to work, they enjoy the sunshine and the boundless blue in the morning and tell the stories about millions of starts and the moon to their children under the sky. People are full of love. They love the nature, family, compatriot and foreigners.

In my dream, the green surround the city in a beautiful style. People like to plant trees, flowers and grass, attracting birds and butterflies to sing and play. Trees are so high that cover the roads and prevent dust flying. People walk with green, then own a good mood and eyes health. Most believe where there is the green, there is a will.

In my dream, people are so clever and creative. They invent something new vehicles to replace cars and substitute new resources for oil. They make the world beautiful and air fresh. Everybody loves breathing and doing exercise anywhere.

In my dream, my parents and my children live in the world I dream.

Maybe the question is hard to answer. But I will fight for my dreams. And now I know I am not alone, or making a daydream. After The eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, our country decides to take ecological civilization into the social construction. I need to seize the opportunity to do something useful. I want to be a protector. I will try my best to protest the destruction of nature. I hope to be a professor. I remember when I was young; my mother often described the beauty of the grasslands through this poem: “tian cang cang, ye mang mang,feng chui cao di xian niu yang”. it means in English “Clear skies, sweeping plains, the grass bowing before the wind, revealing grazing horses and sheep.” I could recite this even before entering primary school.

xxyears ago, my mother visited one of the grassland of Inner Mongolia. She said that no words could describe it’s stunning natural charm. With her description firmly printed on my mind I began to long for a tour to the grassland.

Sadly, this marvelous image that I had in my mind changed completely when my mum and I visited the grassland a year ago. As soon as we got there, I couldn’t believe my eyes. What was in front of me was just a piece of land with loosely grown grass. In the far distance I saw only a couple of horses feeding lazily. I asked my mother: “Where is the lush, tall grass?” As puzzled as me, she said nothing. I was shocked to see the differences between the grassland in my dream and what was in front of me.

On the way home, I thought a lot and tried to find answers.

Now I am old enough to bring awareness to other people and share my dream for the grasslands. Overgrazing and extensive farming have ruined the grassland and so taken away the charm of our homeland. But I am confident that one day the grasslands will recover and its true wealth and beauty will be realized as long as everybody gives his contribution to restore our homeland.
