我盼望著2008年8月8日快點到來。這是北京奧運會開幕的日子，是世界體育大家庭聚會北京的日子，更是每一個中國人倍感驕傲的日子。

I am looking forward to the days coming of Aug.8TH 2008, the day Beijing Olympic games will be opened, the day Sports family gather in beijing, and the day All the Chinese feel proud.作為一個小主人，我真想成為一名光榮的奧運志愿者，可是到了那時，我還太小，不能成為一個真正的志愿者，但是，我依然可以為北京奧運會做出自己的貢獻。

As a littke host , I really want to be honorable volunteer for it, however, I am still too young to be a real volunteer , but I can still contribute for it(according as I am able)

首先，作為一個北京市的小市民，我要用我的熱情、我的笑容迎接每一個來自世界各地的外國朋友，展示出我們北京人友好好客的精神風貌，讓外國朋友們通過每一張北京人的笑臉感受北京。

First , as a citizen of Beijing, I will welcome every friend from all over the world with my enthusiasm and smile to show us beijing people’s friendship and hospitality.And let theforeigh friends know(feel)Beijing from the smile on our face

其次，我要更加努力的學習英語，在奧運會舉辦期間，能夠用英語和外國朋友們說話、交流，為他們提供我力所能及的幫助，比如：做個小翻譯、幫外國人指路等等，讓外國朋友通過每一個北京人熱情的幫助喜歡北京。

Then/second, I will study English harder.During the Olympic Games ,I can communicate with the foreigh friends in english and serve for them such as to be a interpreter and show them the way, let them love beijing more from our enthusiastic help

再次，我也要學習更多的有關北京、奧運的知識，將來可以為外國朋友介紹咱們美麗的北京，以及北京悠久的歷史和燦爛的文化，要讓他們通過和每一個北京人的交流更加了解北京，了解中國。愛愛英語學習風站

Third, I will learn more knowadge about Beijing and The Olympic Games in order to introduce the beautiful beijing to foreigners and its long history and splendor culture in the future.Let them Kow more about China by talking to each Beijinger

最后，我還要動員我身邊的每一個同學，大家一起學習文明禮儀，一起加強和宣傳環保意識，為北京奧運會辦成一個真正的“綠色奧運、人文奧運、科技奧運”從我做起、從現在做起。

Good afternoon, honorable judges, dear teachers & friends.I'm XXX from XXX University.Do you know what date is it today? Today is the Olympic Date.I'm so glad to stand here today to share my idea about Beijing Olympic Games together with you all.The title of my speech is: what can we do for Beijing Olympic Games?

First of all, let me tell you a story that happened 2 years ago.At the end of August, 2004, when I decided to come to Beijing for study, my friends held a farewell Party for me.They said: after your graduation, you should look for a job in Beijing, and then in 2008, we shall go to visit you during the Olympic Games.I laughed and answered: OK, no problem!

Time flied and 2 years passed.Now I am a graduate.My teachers and classmates always ask me: what's your plan after your graduation? Go back home, stay in Beijing, or go to some other places? And I always answer: I will stay in Beijing.I make this decision not because of my promise to my friends 2 years ago, but because: I've fallen in love with Beijing!I'm eager to welcome the coming Olympic Games together with my fellow countrymen, and I wish I could do something for the Olympics & for the city.As we know, Beijing will host the 29th Summer Olympic Games in 2008.As a Chinese, I think many people are thinking: what we can do for Beijing Olympic Games.Most of us are not athletes, we cannot take part in competitions directly;we are not officials either, we don't need to do the preparatory work.We are only ordinary people, what we can do!

There are still so many things we can do!For example, for me, I am a graduate majoring Business English.As far as I am concerned, I will keep on learning English hard, and apply for being a volunteer.I will use English to serve the Games together with other volunteers.And also, as a businessman at that time, I will avail myself of the great commercial opportunities that the Olympics brings to us, make more efforts to offer my contribution to the growth of our national economy.And for all of us, with the goal to host a “Green Olympics”, we shall plant more trees, grass & flowers.Don't waste water.In order to alleviate the problems of air pollution & traffic congestions, we shall take buses & subways more.With the goal to host a “People's Olympics”, and in order to make our Olympics more attractive and to make our Beijing more beautiful, we shall help everyone we meet who needs help, we shall abide by traffic rules, don't smoke in public and no spitting.The most important way for our Chinese to support our Beijing Olympic Games, in my opinion, is to work hard on our duties.

各位老師，早上好！

我演講的題目是：我與2008北京奧運。本演講分三個部分。第一部分，自我介紹；第二部分，我對2008北京奧運的認識；第三部分，我對2008北京奧組委的建議。

首先，我演講的第一部分是自我介紹，讓各位老師對我有一個基本的了解。

我叫李祺霄，英文名字是Henry；今年十歲；是北京七一小學四年級學生。我喜愛學習，喜歡各門功課，在校所有功課成績優秀，年年被學校評為“三好學生”。

我興趣廣泛，喜歡音樂，是學校管樂隊的次中音號手；我喜歡畫畫，畫作多次參展和被報刊采用，我設計的迎奧運隊報在學校展出；曾參加北京計算機競賽二等獎、奧數競賽一等獎，作文比賽優勝獎。我喜歡旅游，曾游覽過國內重慶、山西、桂林、廈門、大連、北戴河、黃山等風景名勝，隨學校合唱團，參加比利時國際合唱節演出獲優勝獎，并游覽法國、德國和荷蘭等國。

我喜歡英語，曾參加北京英語口語大賽獲一等獎，曾參加海淀區英語劇演出，獲得好評。

除此外，我非常愛好體育，CCTV5是我最喜愛的電視節目之一；我喜愛踢球、跑步、游泳和打羽毛球等，曾參加校運動會獲得過100米第一名；喜歡下棋，包括中國象棋、國際象棋和圍棋等，現在是圍棋業余三段棋手。

我興趣廣泛，特別對英語和體育的愛好，使我對奧運，特別是2008北京奧運的認識有了很多、很多的想法、體會。接下來，在第二部分里，我將進一步闡述一個小學生對2008北京奧運的諸多不成熟的見解。

我演講的第二部分是我對2008北京奧運的認識，想談談奧運伴我成長，并由此結下的2008北京奧運情節。

2008北京奧運，對我來說并陌生。記得從我呀呀學語開始，就時常聽大人說起奧運，談及2008北京奧運。“奧運”一詞是我成長十年在我耳邊響起、在我視線眼界看到和嘴里說出頻率最多的詞匯之一。

何謂奧運？仁者見仁、智者見智。我成長的十年，包含著太多的奧運情節，并由此伴隨著我對奧運特別是對北京2008奧運的認識逐步深化的十年。

如果按階段劃分，我了解的奧運，在入學前和入學后的兩個階段，又著很大不同的感受、領悟、理解和認識。

入學前。奧運對我來說，就是跑步、踢球等體育運動，是參加奧運會的運動健兒施展體育才華的競技舞臺。那個時候，我理解的奧運，哪怕是2008北京奧運都離我太遠太遠，最多只是我到時可以從電視轉播中大飽眼福的一項體育大會。

隨著年齡的增長，入學后。通過讀書，通過學習，我漸漸對奧運有一種全新的理解，在我心中打開了一種與我幼時看待奧運的一種更多、更廣、更深的奧運窗口。這扇奧運之窗，告訴我，奧運絕不僅僅是體育，奧運的意義已遠遠超出了競技比賽的范疇。

為此，我參加了學校、海淀區、北京市組織的迎奧運英語比賽、繪畫比賽、電腦比賽、奧數比賽、圍棋比賽等佩帶奧運光環的各種活動，并都獲得了較好的名次。

我喜好讀書，每次來到西單圖書大廈都是我最開心的時候，涉足的書籍包括天文、地理、歷史、數學、電腦、網絡、小說等等，我出國都帶著《微積分》，現在我床頭上還放著《劉翔》。

從廣播電視、書籍、網絡，以及學校組織的各種迎奧運活動、主題班會中，我漸漸了解了一個綜合集成的奧運理念。

我理解的奧運主要包括：

----奧運是縱多體育項目的集合。因為奧運緣自體育，百年前的希臘第一屆奧運會，首創了把各種體育比賽項目與各個國家結合到奧運的舞臺上。每四年讓人們為奧運而準備，為奧運而歡呼。我喜歡體育，我喜愛奧運，我更希望北京2008奧運，中國健兒取得優異的成績。

----奧運是口號代表著一種精神。“更快、更高、更強”始自奧運，但絕不僅僅是奧運；“更快、更高、更強”體現的是一種力量，一種智慧，一種受益終身的精神。作為一個小學生，“更快、更高、更強”首先要體現在學習上，在學習上做得更好，學到真本事，長大為祖國建設添磚加瓦。

----奧運是集體合作的產物。奧運本身就是一個大集體，各國參賽選手參與奧運，代表的是一個國家，而絕不是一個個體；沒有合作、協同的意識只能是一盤散沙。我們小學生，在學校關心集體、積極參與集體活動體現的就是一種奧運意識。

----奧運是一種國際交流。奧運是多國語言的集合，是廣泛結交朋友的大舞臺。北京2008奧運，是北京，也是中國與世界各國交往擴大影響的有利時機。我作為一個小學生，更要學好外語，如果到時能夠作為一個自愿者參加奧運會，我會以主人的身份為世界朋友、世界小朋友服好務。

----奧運還代表著藝術，有誰不認同“福娃”的藝術天分；奧運也是一門經濟，北京主辦2008奧運會，對北京經濟發展、旅游都有積極的推動，對北京的交通、環境、人員素質提高將產生深遠的影響。

總之，奧運作為一本書，一門學問，包含的內容實在太多、太多。

最后，在我此次演講即將結束之際，我想建言2008北京奧組委更多的關注小學生參與2008北京奧運的想法。

我想在此對2008北京奧組委建議：奧運精神的宣傳要從娃娃抓起；2008北京奧運會的志愿者，是否可以擴大到小學六年級的學生。因為我們也想為奧運服務，也有能力做一些小學生力所能及的宣傳和服務。

無論如何，我對2008北京奧運的基本態度是：從我做起，從現在做起。用“更快、更高、更強”的標準做好自己身邊的每一件事。
