Describe a famous athlete you know

And explain why he or she is famous

As for a famous athlete I know, I would like to talk about Fu Yuanhui who is a swimmer from Hangzhou China, and the first time I knew her was in 2016 Olympic games.One of her interview videos was quite interesting because her responses were hilarious.In that video, when Fu was told that she was qualified for the final, Fu pulled a comically exaggerated face and declared that “I have used all my prehistorical power to swim.” Prehistorical power is a phrase originates from a Chinese fantasy drama called “the journey of flower”, and in this situation, this phrase is quite suitable and hilarious.When asked what her hopes were for the final, Fu said that” no expectations, I’m very satisfied now.” That’s how she began to rock the Internet and social media.Pitifully, she didn’t win a gold medal in the 100-meter backstroke final, instead, she eventually won a bronze medal, but that hasn’t reduced the affection from her fans.I think the reason why Fu is so popular on the Internet is that she interpreted the Olympic spirit in an untraditional way which is challenging herself and enjoying the game.That’s the spirit that we Chinese youngsters now look up to.三立教育www.tmdps.cn

建議考生先在詞匯量上多下功夫，國內高考的英語詞匯量只有3500個，但SAT是給美國高二高三學生考的，兩者詞匯量差距不是一般大。雖然SAT一直沒有詞匯大綱，可業內保守估計，其詞匯量要比國內高考多8000到10000個。

除了背單詞，還要熟悉和適應SAT的題型。建議考生買《SAT官方指南》之類的書，認認真真做幾套真題，把自己出錯的地方摘錄出來思考清楚。平時要培養出良好的做題節奏。SAT數學題都是先易后難，容易的題目不要輕敵，難的題目不要畏懼。

如果是初三的小伙伴預備考SAT，或者有一年以上的時間準備，還可以考慮多看看英文原版的經典小說，比如《傲慢與偏見》、《了不起的蓋茨比》等，因為經典小說可以增加你的詞匯量，培養語感，此外SAT也會考到小說欣賞之類的題。

PTE：不計分的自我介紹很重要

從2013年1月1日起，中國區PTE學術英語考試報名費，調整為275美元。

這項考試自去年引入浙江以來，報名人數一直處于上升狀態。它和托福、雅思一樣，是考察學生英語水平的一門考試，采用的是機考模式，全年開放，考試后平均5個工作日內，考生就能收到考試成績。最近一些因為雅思、托福沒考好的學生，都會報PTE，以便趕上申請國外學校的進度。雖然報名人數增加，但因為PTE每月都會安排考試，所以目前考位充足。這個月報名，下個月就能考試。

正式考試時有一項創新舉措，讓考生在動手做考題前做30秒自我介紹，這段音頻不計分，但會附在電子成績單上，一并發給學生申請的院校。

要突擊PTE考試，重點是寫和說。聽和說的部分，一些題型也有技巧可尋。建議考生查閱官方指南，做兩套模擬真題。特別要提醒考生的是，那段30秒自我介紹盡管不計分，但還是要引起足夠重視，這是向心儀學校展示、推薦自己的機會。

Exciting sport: Skiing

Skiing is one of the most exciting sports I’ve ever experienced.The equipments you need to to ski include skiing suit, boots, skiing boards and the sticks.Often, we ski in mountains where there’s snow.You first go to the upper side of a slope by a cable car usually.There are different slopes to choose from, according to your skills.And then you could start your snow travel.When skiing, you should bend down to keep balance and control direction by using the sticks.It is dangerous to keep your back straight or to look at the ground.By doing so, you may fall down easily.At first, I felt scared when sliding so fast from high.My coach told me that the more you feel scared, the more likely you will fall down.After several practices, I left behind the fear and begin to enjoy the excitement.It’s just like flying, flying above the white snow in the sun.Hearing the sound of wind, you’ll get the excitement.Famous mountains for skiing include Alps in Swisserland, mountains in Canada as well as those in Northeast China.It is easy to get hurt when skiing.So its important to wear helmets and knee pads in case of accident.Appliance: Microwave oven:

My maternal grandfather's ancestor came from...My family is big and hectic, but we're always there for each other.definately protective.Unconventional, free-spirited, slightly bonkers, and occasionally irritating.But compassionate, well-meaning and generally pretty great.We're not wealthy in assets, but we are richest in unity and support.Mostly we just get together for major family events.My immediately family is kind of large and I would not consider us close, though many outsiders do.I guess we are at least rather involved in each other's lives for people to say that.However, each of us is an individual and independent of the others, so that's what makes me say that we are not close.We get along, in general, though.That is the important thing.And even within the immediate family, we're not especially close, we just kind of sit around and have meaningless conversations, and the closest we ever come to actual 'family time' anymore is maybe sitting down to play a few argument-filled hands of Gin Rummy.
