有一次，我在電視上看到這樣一則報道：廣東省某一中學的食堂搞得不錯，但很多中學生卻到校外的餐館就餐。當記者問他們為什么這樣做時，他們居然回答：“多花點錢不要緊，到餐館吃飯不用自己洗碗。”看到這里，我不由想到外國推行的吃苦教育。

倫敦有一所著名的貴族中學，叫伊登公學。這所中學是英國皇家王公貴族子弟學習的地方，建校五百多年來，英國的許多首相、大臣、將軍和科學家都畢業于這里。

伊登公學對學生的要求很嚴格，學生們基本過著一種軍營式的生活。教師和學生的住宿條件也十分簡單，他們只有大間的集體宿舍，更令人不解的是，學生每星期五還得餓一天的肚子，真有點“勞其筋骨，餓其體膚”的味道，據說，這是為了培養學生的紀律性和吃苦精神。

同學們。我們從小生活在和平時期，過著一種舒適安定的生活，有的同學在家里被視為是“小皇帝”、“小太陽”，父母對他百般疼愛;有的家長以考試成績為籌碼，考好了發給“大獎”，很多同學的腰包都是鼓鼓的。于是學會搞攀比、講排場、擺闊氣。這種花父母的錢不心疼鋪張浪費的作法，對自己今后的成長是極為不利的。

外國有許多心理學家認為：有十分幸福童年的人往往有不幸的成年。我國也有這么一句俗語：“少年有福不算福，有錢難買少年窮。”自從改革開放以來，我們的生活富裕了，但是艱苦樸素的作風不能丟，我們要按照《規范》嚴格要求自己，做到愛惜糧食，愛惜學習生活用品，不挑吃穿，不亂花錢，節約水電。

同學們，勤儉樸素是一種美德，讓我們從小做起，讓美德與我們同行!

首先給大家講一個小故事：有一個心灰意冷的青年人，因為遭受了巨大挫折，決定自殺。在臨死之前，他努力回憶自己二十多年的人生經歷，想到自己讀中學時的一件事情。那是一節美術課，他畫了一棵風中的楊樹。這時他的同桌羨慕的對他說：“多么挺拔偉岸的一棵楊樹!你也許可以成為一名優秀的畫家呢!”老師也走過來，對他的畫評價很高。多年過去了，自己竟然也忘記了繼續畫畫，畢業以后，再也沒有見過自己的同桌。他決定活下來，感謝他的同桌對他的鼓勵，成為一名畫家。幾年后，他果然成為遠近聞名的山水畫家。

同學一句不經意的話，改變了一個人的一生。可能你并沒有意識到自己的重要，可是你的一言一行，其實都在影響著身邊的每一個人。作為新時代的中學生，我們應當注重自己在日常生活和學習中，從我們言談舉止的每一個細節入手，自覺遵守文明禮儀。

當你踏著輕快的步伐走進學校的時候，是否會想起那些經常手拿掃帚，埋頭辛苦掃地的同學;當你在干凈、整潔的校園里漫步徜徉的時候，怎么可以漠視那盡情飛舞的果皮紙屑，而不伸出雙手?你怎么忍心讓干凈的墻壁，留下各種筆跡和串串腳印，還發出幸災樂禍的笑聲呢?你怎么能在你同窗好友的面前演刀光劍影、插隊哄搶呢?你怎么可以背著老師、家長私自出校門、出家門，全然不顧他們的感受呢?難道你沒有察覺到師長眼神中那一絲擔心、那一屢疲憊。同學們，美麗的校園不僅僅需要每個人的付出，更需要你我的文明舉止呀!

英國作家狄更斯曾經這樣充滿深情地描述生命的意義：如果我能夠彌補一個破碎的心靈，我便不是徒然地活著;如果我能夠減輕一個生命的痛苦，撫慰一個生命的創傷，或者讓一只離巢小鳥回到巢里，我就不是徒然地活著。那么，如果你是一名朝氣蓬勃的中學生，我相信你的信念也一定是：不讓自己徒然的活著!

同學們：

我們讀過《周總理的睡衣》這篇課文，周總理的那件睡衣補了又穿，穿了又補，直到逝世那天，睡衣仍然穿在身上。他的一雙皮鞋一穿就是二十多年，一塊上海牌手表一直戴到心臟停止跳動。周總理為我們樹立了光輝的榜樣。

有一次，我在電視上看到這樣一則報道：廣東省某一中學的食堂搞得不錯，但很多中學生卻到校外的餐館就餐。當記者問他們為什么這樣做時，他們居然回答：“多花點錢不要緊，到餐館吃飯不用自己洗碗。”看到這里，我不由想到外國推行的吃苦教育。

倫敦有一所著名的貴族中學，叫伊登公學。這所中學是英國皇家王公貴族子弟學習的地方，建校五百多年來，英國的許多首相、大臣、將軍和科學家都畢業于這里。

伊登公學對學生的要求很嚴格，學生們基本過著一種軍營式的生活。教師和學生的住宿條件也十分簡單，他們只有大間的集體宿舍，更令人不解的是，學生每星期五還得餓一天的肚子，真有點“勞其筋骨，餓其體膚”的味道，據說，這是為了培養學生的紀律性和吃苦精神。

同學們。我們從小生活在和平時期，過著一種舒適安定的生活，有的同學在家里被視為是“小皇帝”、“小太陽”，父母對他百般疼愛;有的家長以考試成績為籌碼，考好了發給“大獎”，很多同學的腰包都是鼓鼓的。于是學會搞攀比、講排場、擺闊氣。這種花父母的錢不心疼鋪張浪費的作法，對自己今后的成長是極為不利的。

外國有許多心理學家認為：有十分幸福童年的人往往有不幸的成年。我國也有這么一句俗語：“少年有福不算福，有錢難買少年窮。”自從改革開放以來，我們的生活富裕了，但是艱苦樸素的作風不能丟，我們要按照《規范》嚴格要求自己，做到愛惜糧食，愛惜學習生活用品，不挑吃穿，不亂花錢，節約水電。
