自薦信屬于求職信的一種。

好的英文求職信和英文簡歷是進入大企業特別是外企的“敲門磚”。因此，如何寫好應聘的求職簡歷就顯得尤為重要。

英文求職信的一般由五個組成部分：寫信動機、自我介紹、能力（技能）介紹、結尾和附件。

寫信動機：

通常求職信是針對報紙上、網上的或是其他途徑的招聘廣告而寫的。因此，信中須首先提到時在何月何日的什么報紙上看到的信息、在什么網絡平臺看到的招聘廣告，又或是是由朋友或介紹所介紹的等等。當然，有時寫信人不知某機構、公司有工作機會，只是毛遂自薦，那么也需說明寫求職信的緣由和目的。此外，需開門見山的點明應聘的職位或是希望承擔的職務

自我介紹：

此部分應述明自己的年齡或出生年月、教育背景，尤其與應征職位有關的訓練或教育科目、工作經驗或特殊技能。如無實際經驗，略述在學類似經驗亦可。

能力（技能）介紹：

如果缺乏工作經歷，可以將社會工作細節放在工作經歷中，這樣會填補工作經驗少的缺陷。例如，在做團支書、學生會主席等社會工作時組織過什么活動，聯系過什么事，參與過什么都可以一一羅列。

結尾：

求職信的結尾，應注意表達，珍惜工作機會和如果得到職位后將不遺余力的表現決心，希望招聘單位給予自己施展才華的.機會等。此外，不要忘了注明正熱切盼望對方的回復。

附件：

畢業證書、資格證書、獲獎證明應列好表單，附于求職信后。

格式與態度:

寫英文求職信，開頭寫每段第一句話時，要頂格寫，一定不要空兩格。這點很重要，請你注意;不要用開玩笑的口吻與對方套近乎，要嚴肅，認真地寫。這能使對方感覺你很重視這件事情;簡短介紹自己的專業與才能。重點寫清楚你的能力可以滿足對方公司的需要。

個人資料:

寫英文求職信時，寫信人應述明自己的年齡或出生年月，教育背景，尤其是和應征的職位有關的訓練或教育科目、工作經驗或特殊的技能；如無實際經驗，告知對方你正在學習經驗!

推薦自我:

寫英文求職信時，需重點注意約定面試時間。一定要寫清楚:我知道您很忙，我很感謝您能在百忙之中抽幾分鐘時間跟我見面并談話。請放心，這幾分鐘您一定不會浪費的!因為我確定我的能力一定使貴公司達到目的。要自信!但不要過份夸大自己的能力或表現過份信心，尤其不要說出與事實不符的能力或特性來。

結尾與聯系方式:

寫英文求職信結尾時，需重點注意:不要等對方先打電話聯系你，你應該在英文求職信中明確寫出，你會在此期間打電話約對方見面，并告對方知具體聯系時間;還要寫明，在見面之前，若對方有什么問題需要了解的，可發email或打電話聯系你。并寫清楚你的聯系方式。最后，再一次寫明感謝他們抽時間看你的個人簡歷，求職信。并感謝他們考慮你的應聘。

寫英文求職信要點:

篇幅不易過長，簡短為好;態度誠懇，不需華麗詞匯;讓對方感覺親切，自信，實在即可;不要誤看其他錯誤的寫作方法，以免耽誤了你的求職機會。

紙張的選用:

建議你用灰色，黃褐色或米色紙作最終打印信紙。要配合信封的顏色。

書寫：

字體要寫得整潔可辯，使用打字機把信打出來。具有專業感。

附郵票:

英語求職信內需附加郵票或回址信封。

語法:

準確無誤的語法，標點拼寫使讀信人感到舒暢。錯誤的語法或拼寫則十分明顯，一望即知。且不可把收信人的姓名或公司地址拼錯了。

你叫李平，你從報上得知某公司欲招聘一名英語翻譯，請你給該公司經理寫一份求職信，你的個人資料如下：

2.簡歷：1994年北京大學畢業后分配到南通中學工作，調至蘇州中學工作至今。
