但譯詩作為獨立的藝術品，自身要求協調、統一，格律譯詩只有和古詩傳統中的原始意象渾然一體，才能在譯詩內做到不露痕跡。而陳錫麟采用的古典五言體有其嚴謹的體制，也有自己約定俗成的詩歌語言，會生發出一種特有的意境和韻味，和原詩固有的情趣發生矛盾。
