怎樣用英語表達年、月、日

一、年份

在英語中，年份一般用阿拉伯數字寫出，其讀、寫方法有以下幾種：

1、四位數的年份，一般前兩個數為一個單位，后兩個數為一個單位，依次按基數詞讀出。如： 1763年寫作：1763。讀作：seventeen sixty-three或seventeen hundred and sixty-three

2006年寫作：2006。讀作：two thousand and six

2063年寫作：2063。讀作：twenty sixtythree或twenty hundred and sixty-three

1050年寫作：1050。讀作：ten fifty或ten hundred and fifty2、三位數的年份，可以按基數詞讀出，或者第一個數字為一個單位，后兩個數字為一個單位，按基數詞讀出。如：

385年寫作：385。讀作：three hundred and eighty-five或three eighty-five

509年寫作：509。讀作：five hundred and nine或five O nine3、兩位數的年份，直接按基數詞讀出。如：

公元前59年寫作：59 B.C.讀作：fifty-nine B.C.(B.C.是英文before Christ的縮寫，用在年份后，表示“公元前……年”。)

二、月份

月份開頭第一個字母必須大寫?！啊律?中/下旬”的表達方式為：“early/mid/late 月份名稱”。如： early February二月上旬；mid-February二月中旬；late February二月下旬。

三、日期

日期用序數詞表示，書寫時，序數詞前的the和詞尾(-st,-nd,-rd,-th)可省略，但讀時要念出來。如： 4月21日寫作：April 21(st)。讀作：the twenty-first of April(英)/ April twenty-first(美)

四、年月日

表示某年某月某日，按“月份 日期的序數詞 年份”寫出，年份前常用逗號。如：1993年9月2日寫作：September 2(nd), 199

3當月、日完全用阿拉伯數字表示時，英美人的表達習慣不同，英國人把日放在月之前；美國人把月放在日之前。如6/5在英國表示May the sixth；而在美國則表示June the fifth。

On October 31st after the crops were all harvested and stored for the long winter the cooking fires in the homes would be extinguished(消失).The Druids, the Celtic priests, would meet in the hilltop in the dark oak forest(oak trees were considered sacred).They would light new fires and offer sacrifices of crops and animals.As they danced around the fires, the season of the sun passed and the season of darkness would begin.When the morning arrived the Druids would give an ember from their fires to each family who would then take them home to start new cooking fires.These fires would keep the homes warm and free from evil spirits.The November 1st festival was called Samhain(pronounced “sow-en”).The festival would last for 3 days.Many

people would parade in costumes made from the skins and heads of their animals.This festival would become the first Halloween.The Celtics would carry a lantern(燈籠)when they walked on the eve of October 31.These lanterns were carved out of big turnips(大頭菜)and the lights were believed to keep the evil spirits away.Children would carve faces in the turnips.These carved turnips were called “jack-o-lanterns.It is said that the ”jack-o-lantern“ got its name from a stingy(吝嗇的)and mean old man, named Jack, who when he died was too mean to get into heaven.When Jack went to hell he was meet by the Devil who gave him a piece of
