For Gump

Since last Monday I have chewed and digested Forrest Gump once and once again.It becomes an epic deep in my heart.Nevertheless, I know even though I saw it, which is a classic like the Holy Bible over and over again for one hundred times, I could not grasp the interior meaning of the director and 1/10000 of Gump’s great qualities.I can’t evaluate or talk nonsense.Maybe I will understand later, maybe I can only touch a little at last…However, I know, the essential spirit of Gump is far beyond my depth.We need to create our own miracles in the unknown life and world.All I can do is to run.Life is like feathers in the sky, which may strive against wind ,may float around accidental, may sail the blue heavens, may fall into abyss…We may have crush on the flying feather, while Gump simply save it, save one wanderer heart which is filled with lust, pursuit and ideal as we all have.Gump is a dream.He will never be homeless although he has no friends.He always has one strong power in his heart just as he always possess mother’s love."Mama always said life was like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.”With maternal love, Gump got on his way， made no words, but he had responsibility without regrets and bore it having no rancor…Run…cut on day and night in spite of wind and rain.“run, Gump, run” A man’s long-distance run for all his life begins.“Gump, run”, finally, Gump gained life, love and the world.Why? “Just run”, he said, neither for so-called protecting environments nor for women’s rights or world peace.He just ran and ran with single-minded persistence.“You're got to put the past behind you can move on.That's what my run was all about.” Maybe just as what Gump said.Jane is his only love and direction.She is also the true portrayal of us in life.In fact, we are also running for a long distance like Jane, but we know the hardness and distance.“Whether there will be pay-back accordingly for such a long pay?” We always ran doubtingly and worryingly and we became more and more tired.So we cut, and we wander at the brink of the world and heaven or hell, even have no courage to die or escape from sufferings.What we do is helpless and agonizing waiting…Each

In the novel Forrest Gump ,the end is, “But let me tell you this: sometimes at night, when I look up at the stars, an see the whole sky jus laid out there, don't you think I ain't remembering it all.I still got dreams like anybody else, an ever so often, I am thinking about how things might of been.And then, all of a sudden, I'm forty, fifty, sixty years old, you know?”

Abstract: The movie Forrest Gump is an inspiring and moving movie, which can be described as one of the authorities of American movie.This article refers to the leading actor, the beginning and ending of this movie.At last, it analyzes some meaningful lines.Key words: Forrest Gump, a feather, classic lines

Introduction

Ever let the unpleasant slices of life make you down? Is the day-to-day struggle threatening to drag you under? If so, there is a good movie that can replenish your energy and refresh your outlook.Passionate and magical, Forrest Gump is a tonic for the weary of spirit.For those who feel that being set adrift in a season of action movies is like wandering into a desert, the oasis lies ahead.The movie I want to comment is an American movie which is revised from the novel that has a same name.The novel was written by Winston Groom.In 1994, this movie won 6 big prizes in Oscar, such as the Oscar for best picture, the Academy Award for Best Actor, the Best Director and so on.The famous actor Tom Hanks played the main role in the film.Now, maybe many of you have known the name of this film for its great reputation.Forrest Gump is the very film which achieved 6 big prizes is doom to leave the name in the annals of history, not being mentioned the hero is a famous superstar.Then I’d like to introduce a scene of it.A feather flies with the wind flowing above the tip of trees and ahead to the blue sky.In the end, it falls down near the hero’s feet.Gump, who is the main actor, sits on a bench in Alabama, and tells a story about his life to the people who are waiting for the bus without stopping.At first, I couldn’t understand it and didn’t know the meaning of the feather.But then, Gump begins to be lost in memories and I got it.He was born in a close town in Alabama in the south of America after the World War Ⅱ.He was mentally retarded innately , his IQ was only 75, and had muscle problem.But his mother was a strong lady.She wanted her son to live as a normal human.She often inspired Gump that fools have fortune;he should make unremitting efforts to improve himself.Luckily, the God didn’t abandon him.The God not only gave Gump special feet which can run fast, but also gave him a mind which was simple, honest and pure thoughts.In high school, Gump ran into one school’s football court in order to avoid being chased by his classmate.He was admitted an exception University and became a football superstar, and President Kennedy met him.He

attended Vietnam War.He also took part in the China—America Ping Pong friendly matches on U.S.behalf and so on.At last, he did become a millionaire.In the end of the film, Jenny who is Gump’s wife has passed away, and their son should go to school.One day, Gump send his son on the school bus.At the same time, there was a feather fell down from his son’s book, and a gust of wind blew, then the feather flied again.In my opinion, the function of the feather is to draw forth the following at the beginning and to response to the beginning at the end.And it stands for purity, freedom and up and down in our life.I can say that the feather is a line that linked Gump’s life up closely, that is to say, we see Gump’s life mainly by this line.Now that, what a person Gump is? Gump is a man who just understand pay nothing back, who never to refuse others.He just faces life with generosity and magnanimousness.He together his belief, courage, little wisdom, if that can be seeing as wisdom, on one point, and he ignore everything just to run with intuition.He ran past the discrimination, past the football field, past he battlefront and so on, then he reaches destination.Even though Gump’s IQ is lower than us, he is nobler than us.There are many virtues far away from many of us with normal IQ, like honest, faith, courage loyalty, etc.At the beginning, we may be amused by his dulling, feeling superiority before him.But at the end, many of us are touched by his honest or other virtues.Suddenly we find his experience just stands for an innocent age we had at the past, but now it’s covered by prejudice and vanity.After all, Gump is a fictitious person.But that doesn’t matter.The film just was designed to teach us a different attitude towards life through Gump’s experience.A attitude like Gump towards life, no matter what you are facing or what are on the corner, he is always letting go of everything and trying to do the best, but not to blame someone, to waste time complaining or to give up desperately.What Gump to do is the simplest, he just to be the best of whatever he is and never to stop.Just like the feather, it finally flies back to the sky and continues its own journey.Next, I want to analyze some actor lines which I think are classic and of philosophy.Most of those are sad by Gump’s mother, so we often hear Gump saying that “My momma always said···”.I have to say what a sagacious mom she is!

The most popular lines must be “Life was like a box of chocolates.You never know what you are going to get”.This word is extremely true for Gump, as we never think that he became a millionaire at last after so many unthinkable experiences.Truly, you never know what you will face is waiting for you next second, so what we can do is equipping ourselves well and playing to the score.Another classic one is about trouble, “If you are ever in trouble, don’t try to be brave, just run, just run away”.Maybe people around us always try to persuade to bend to our trouble and meet our care, seldom say giving up.But we must make it clear that not every trouble can be solved after struggle.We must learn to give up a blue moon.“There is only so much of fortune a man really needs and the rest is just for showing off” is also Gump’s mom said.Many of us are pursuing wealth lifetime, but money is truly so important, more important than health, than kinship, than friendship? If the answer is No, please position the life again.There are many other classic lines, like “Death is just a part of life, something we’re all destined to do”, like “I don’t know if we each have a destiny, or if we’re all just floating around accidental—like on a breeze” and “If there is anything you need I will not be far away ” ,etc.They are all worthy to taste.Conclusion

At last, I want to say the world will never be the same once you've seen it through the eyes of Forrest Gump.This movie is worthy appreciation for many times.

都說(shuō)如果你自卑，失落，就去看看《阿甘正傳》，其實(shí)我倒是覺得，不論你是什么狀況，你都應(yīng)該去看看它，他從小就有著種種的不幸，腿有問(wèn)題，智商低，沒有朋友，被人用一樣的眼光看待。。。但這些似乎預(yù)示著他傳奇的人生經(jīng)歷，其實(shí)也算不上傳奇，他只是作為普通大眾中的一員有著平凡的經(jīng)歷，而這種經(jīng)歷被提煉成了一種精神。這就是福雷斯·甘。他是個(gè)真正隨波逐流的人，沒有那么多的追求，也沒有那么遠(yuǎn)大的理想，但是許多看似不可能的事卻在她身上變成了現(xiàn)實(shí)，他跑得很快，跑得快竟讓他拿到了大學(xué)畢業(yè)證，還讓他成為了全美橄欖球隊(duì)中的一員，還受到了總統(tǒng)的接見，他趕上了越戰(zhàn)，在戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)中他與乒乓球結(jié)緣，竟然參與了尼克松總統(tǒng)的“乒乓外交”戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)中的他似乎也不會(huì)想太多，從沒有什么自己會(huì)中彈，會(huì)犧牲之類的想法。他只是不知疲倦的營(yíng)救自己的戰(zhàn)友。相比其他人，他的這種狀態(tài)似乎讓他獲得了更多的生存機(jī)會(huì)。丹中尉，想帶著榮譽(yù)戰(zhàn)死沙場(chǎng)。最后卻失去了雙腿。大概之后他也沒有想到他會(huì)成為億萬(wàn)富翁。布巴想成為一名捕蝦船的船長(zhǎng)，但是最終陷到了越戰(zhàn)的泥潭中，再也沒有出來(lái)。而阿甘似乎并沒有想要成為什么，可他最后確得到了很多。成為了船長(zhǎng)，億萬(wàn)富翁，得到了榮譽(yù)，愛。我們都擁有自己的一盒巧克力，其中滋味只有自己嘗了知道。影片中也不斷的向人們展示著不同的人生來(lái)證明這句話。生命中就是充滿了這么多的想不到，不確定，而對(duì)待這些不管是好的、還是壞的，是酸甜滋味、還是苦辣的滋味，我們都要學(xué)會(huì)從容、樂(lè)觀、積極地去面對(duì)。也許命運(yùn)之神暫時(shí)沒有把幸運(yùn)之手放在你的身上，但誰(shuí)知道以后會(huì)怎樣，正所謂塞翁失馬焉知非福。

阿甘有很多句話前面都加上了媽媽說(shuō)三個(gè)字。分別是：

①----媽媽說(shuō)，人生就象巧克力，你永遠(yuǎn)不知道你會(huì)嘗到什么味道。

②----媽媽說(shuō)，你必須明白，你和你身邊的人一樣，你和他們并沒有什么不同，沒有。

③----媽媽說(shuō)，我只是告訴自己，當(dāng)我做一件事的時(shí)候，我就要盡力去做好它，比如我這輩子做了你的媽媽，這是我無(wú)法選擇的事，上帝把你給了我，我的孩子，我就必須盡力做好你的母親，我做到了。

從中不難看出媽媽對(duì)于阿甘的成長(zhǎng)起到了多么大的作用。也正是這位堅(jiān)強(qiáng)的，對(duì)他不離不棄的母親給他鼓勵(lì)，告訴他“你和其他人沒有什么區(qū)別”他的童年才不至于像一樣籠罩著一層陰影。這也是使他和珍妮的人生軌跡發(fā)生偏移的重要原因。貫穿電影的還有他不知疲倦的奔跑，跑。他一直在跑，開始是逃跑，后來(lái)他跑進(jìn)了橄欖球隊(duì)，再后來(lái)跑進(jìn)了大學(xué)，跑得了學(xué)位。在越戰(zhàn)戰(zhàn)場(chǎng)上，他仍是牢記珍妮的話，跑回了自己的性命，也跑回榮譽(yù)和友情。她穿著珍妮送給他的那雙鞋開始了長(zhǎng)達(dá)三年的奔跑在奔跑中他不斷的影響著周圍的人們，同時(shí)也是一個(gè)對(duì)自己的升華過(guò)程。當(dāng)他忽然停下說(shuō)他累了想回家。這便是自我升華完成的標(biāo)志。他喜歡跑，并不需要什么冠冕堂皇的理由。向前跑奔跑可以到來(lái)希望。我們的一生也是一樣，需要跑，這樣才會(huì)有超越。不斷地，不倦的跑去完成對(duì)他人的超越，更是對(duì)自己的超越。

阿甘是一個(gè)對(duì)愛十分執(zhí)著的人，不論是在越南戰(zhàn)場(chǎng)上還是在哪里，他都始終沒有忘記對(duì)珍妮的想念，但是很無(wú)奈他們的人生軌跡有偏移，這個(gè)段愛情并不是很圓滿。過(guò)少會(huì)令人有些許的惋惜。他愛珍妮，所以他不愿看到別人欺負(fù)她，也因?yàn)樗麗壅淠荩芨咝目吹剿膲?mèng)想實(shí)現(xiàn)，方式他并不

那么在意。他給了她很大的空間。更是因?yàn)閻郏梢圆活櫿淠荻嗄暝谕獾慕?jīng)歷，而且知道她患絕癥之后仍然愿意娶她。這或許就是愛的境界吧，真的很讓人感動(dòng)。
