一、指導思想
以“英語課程標準”為宗旨,適應新課程改革的需要,面向全體學生,提高學生的人文素養,增強實踐能力和創新精神。正確把握英語學科特點,積極倡導合作探究的學習方式。培養學生積極地情感態度和正確的人生價值觀,提高學生綜合素質為學生全面發展和終身發展奠定基礎。
二、學生基本情況分析:
大多數學生已能聽懂有關熟悉話題的語段和簡短的故事。能與教師或同學就熟悉的話題交換信息。能讀懂短篇故事,能寫便條和簡單的書信。但由于各種因素的影響,學生發展參差不齊。有少數學生因為基礎不夠好,學習很吃力而自暴自棄,有的因此擾亂課堂次序,這給教學帶來不少困難。十來個學生根本沒有學習目標,完全放棄學習,但學生的紀律總體還是不錯,這樣為學生的學習打下良好的基礎。另外,學生在情感態度學習策略方面還存在諸多需要進一步解決的問題。例如:很多學生不能明確學習英語的目的,沒有真正認識到學習英語的目的在于交流;有些同學在學習中缺乏小組合作意識;大多數同學沒有養成良好的學習習慣,不能做好課前預習、課后復習,學習沒有計劃性和策略性;不善于發現和總結語言規律,不留意知識的鞏固和積累。
三、教材分析 教材編排特點
新版《新目標英語》八年級(下冊),本冊八年級教材共分十個單元,每單元分Section A和Grammar Focus、Section B以及Self-check四部分。
Section A : 1a呈現本單元的重點單詞,語法結構與功能;1b呈現任務型聽力練習;1c結對練習核心對話;2a,2b是多種聽力練習;2c呈現不同的任務;2d是練習在生活中使用目標語言進行真實的對話;3a-3c提供一篇英語短文進行閱讀并完成閱讀任務的課堂活動。Grammar Focus 呈現語法功能重點;4a-4c 是圍繞學過的語言點進行復習并提供三種課堂活動。
Section B: 1a詞會短語擴展;1b,1c呈現任務型聽力練習;1d是練習在生活中使用目標語言進行的對話; 2a是短文閱讀前的引入,2b呈現一篇短文;2c –2e是根據短文完成相應的閱讀理解練習活動;3a-3b提供各類練習形式,隨著所學內容的加深,逐步擴展成閱讀和寫作練習。Self-check為創造性活用所學知識提供各類課堂活動。

本學期的重點是繼續學習詞匯和習慣用語。
語法知識點:情態動詞couldshould ;反身代詞;不定式;動詞短語;連詞until ,so that,although、when , while,as soon as ,unless,so…that,詢問情況、提出建議;現在完成時態。其中連詞和現在完成時態是本冊的難點、重點。
四、教學目標 1.總體目標:激發學生學習英語的興趣,樹立自信心。在整個教學過程中,讓學生有豐富的生活常識、多文化背景的積累,并形成正確人生觀、價值觀,有積極的情感態度和跨文化的交際能力。同時培養自主學習能力,積累學習方法。
2.具體目標:結合學生英語基礎較差的實際,在教學剛開始的階段,注意和初一知識的銜接,例如復習積累基礎詞匯、詞語搭配、句型,熟悉不同單元呈現的語法規則,掌握實際用法。希望第一學期后,學生能培養學習的興趣,養成較好的學習習慣,對基礎知識有一定的掌握。
五、具體措施
1、對新版教材認真研究,充分運用多媒體課件等充分展示數碼技術在英語教學中的作用,引起學生興趣,讓學生充分思考、討論,注重能力的培養。
2、認真貫徹晨讀制度,規定晨讀內容,加強監督,保證晨讀效果。①每天記5個生詞,2個常用句子或習語。利用“互測及教師抽查”及時檢查,保證效果并堅持下去。②背誦課文中的對話或課文。目的:要求學生背誦并默寫,培養語感。
3、對學困生進行專門輔導,布置單獨的作業,讓他們在小進步、小轉變中體味學習的快樂,樹立學習的自信,盡快成長起來。
4、經常進行教學反思,適時調整教學方法,符合學生的真實情況,利于學生的有效性學習。
5、在具體的英語課堂教學中,根據目標并結合教學具體內容,為學生積極創設情景,盡量讓學生在較為逼真的情景中滲透文化,了解文化,設置任務,學生通過思考、調查、討論、交流和合作等方式,學習和使用英語,完成學習任務。
6、關注學生的情感,營造寬松、民主、和諧的教學氛圍。
7、加強對學生學習策略的指導,為他們終身學習奠定基礎。
8、認真專研教材和課標,既備學生又備教材,認真上好每一堂課。
