I.相對較大的地點

Who you would like to go with and explain why you like to travel there 這道題目其實是一道常規考題，只是對城市的考察加了特定的限定詞，國外的城市，這道題目的難點在于很多考生可能沒有去過，所以心里沒有底，于是在考試中會覺得無話可說，各位考生可以多搜集一些資料，準備好相關背景知識，自然能夠輕松應對。對城市的描寫可以從地理位置，特點以及你對該城市的感受著手，組織好語言，自然高分不難。并且考生們可以增加對海景的描述，從而當考到a place near the water時也可以順利的進行轉化。

What features the park has and explain why you love the park or the garden 這道題目的難點在于要描述一個公園，除了簡單帶出公園中的風景和娛樂設施，還要描述公園中的一些特色，建議考生在介紹普通的公園之外，還可以準備一些主題公園，比如說Disneyland, 首先各位考生可以從地理位置上進行簡單的介紹，可以選擇全球任意一處Disneyland進行描述，無論是否去過，背景資料的搜集工作一定要做足，比如說它的來歷：

Where the hotel/restaurant is

What the hotel/restaurant is famous for

What you can enjoy at the hotel/restaurant and explain why you often go to this hotel/restaurant 在對此類建筑話題進行描述時，往往要求考生描述以下方面：建筑所在地點(where), 參觀此建筑的時間(when)/多久去一次(how long), 參與的人(who), 以及為什么喜歡/不喜歡這個建筑(why)。這種類型的問題對大多數考生來說都比較簡單，只需把重點放在喜歡或者不喜歡的原因即可，學生很容易找到相關思路并且做出清晰流暢的回答。而對于特定的建筑物而言，朗閣雅思考試研究中心的專家提醒同學們要注意，需要重點描述的是為什么在這么多的圖書館、餐館、博物館、賓館、建筑物中，你不選擇其他作為描述對象，而偏偏選擇這個，也就是說這個地點或描述對象本身具有較多的特征或特別之處，才值得一提，所以，在選擇對象的時候，要注意一些其自身的特色，以及可以提一下在此建筑物中的經歷。

IV.景點類

Describe a historic site Describe a nature beauty 在景點類考題中，考生們在備考中要準備一個人文景觀（historic site）和一個自然景觀（nature beauty），自然景觀可以參照城市類的考題進行準備，而A Historic Site這個考題

考生們可能不太熟悉，題目如下： Describe an interesting historic site You should say: where it was what you saw at this site(or, what it looked like)what role it played in history and explain what interested you about that place 這道題的難點在于對于歷史建筑的描述，在強調它的歷史作用時多少會涉及到歷史知識以及一些專有名詞的表達。而不管各位考生是選擇中國的還是國外的歷史建筑，鑒于平日里談論得極少，考試前沒有足夠的準備就很難開口。所以各位考生在考前可以結合其它描述地點或建筑的話題一起準備：Describe a museum/an old building/your favorite building/an important traditional building等，例如北京故宮里的建筑，即是古老而傳統的建筑，又是很重要的博物館，也可以是自己最喜歡的建筑。不過故宮和頤和園之類的話題考官已經聽過太多了，所以考生們可以參照類似的例文，跟考官描述一個當地的著名歷史建筑，例如長沙的岳麓書院，杭州的雷鋒塔，南京的明孝陵之類的，提前做好充足的功課，搜集相關的背景知識，遇到其它問題也都可以迎刃而解。Sample: Well, you know, China is a country with a long history, and I have visited some of those historical places.Here I would like to talk about one of them-the “Summer Palace”.To be frank, it is too hard for me to describe this famous historical place in only one or two minutes.I will just give you a brief introduction of Summer Palace.It was built in 1764, located in west of Beijing, far from the city center.It was known as the biggest Royal Garden.There are a large quantity of trees and flowers.The long corridors, pavilions together with the lake make a marvelous landscape.It has been destroyed for several times.After 1949, our government rebuilt it and protected it well.Now it is a famous historical place in the world heritage list.I think it is worthy to take visit there.而nature beauty這一考題，各位考生可以和上面提及到的a foreign country/city以及river/lake進行轉換，是非常容易答題的。
