投訴信也稱抱怨信，曾于2012年的考研備考英語(二)中考過。一般來說用于寫信人對某項服務或某個產品表達不滿，經常發生在自己作為消費者利益受損或者自己的正常工作、學習、生活受到干擾的情形下，寫信時要語氣冷靜、有禮，陳述事實客觀、準確，信中需明確提出解決方式并表達期待盡快解決的心情。

一般來說，在考研備考英語中，投訴信的主體部分可按照三個步驟進行，即“三步走”策略：

首段：自我介紹，表明相關;提出投訴，陳述事由。

中段：具體解決方案。

尾段：希望重視，得到回復。
