請柬（Invitation）

動時所發的約請性書信。在國際交往以及日常的各種社交活

動中，這類書信使用廣泛。

邀請信分為兩種：一種是正規的格式(formal correspondence)，也叫做請柬;一種是非正規格式(informal correspondence)，就是一般的邀請信。

請柬通常有固定的格式，應注意文字排列精心設計，一般以一個或兩個完整的意群為一行。一般用第三人稱形式寫作。

請帖有三種格式：

1.x invites you to a reception(party, etc.)at(place)on(date)at(time).2.you are warmly(cordially)invited to attend a reception(party, etc.)at(place)on(date)at(time).mr.y)at a reception(dinner, etc.)at(place)on(date)at(time).在這三種格式中，最后一種比較正式，其他兩種比較隨便。除了上述基本內容外，在請柬右下角一般還附有其他說明：一種是寫r.s.v.p.（請答復），再寫電話號碼；或寫for regrets only,意思是：如不能參加，請回話（反過來說，如能參加可不必答復）。一種是注明需要穿哪類服裝，如果寫dress informal, dress optional，意思是衣著隨便；一般場合可不加注，或注lounge suit/ day dress；正式場合注black tie.邀請信作為信的一種形式可參照一般書信的格式去寫。但要掌握好下列幾點： 1)說明邀請對方參加什么活動、邀請的原因是什么。

2)將活動安排的細節及注意事項告訴對方。諸如時間、地點、參加人員、人數，做些什么樣的準備及所穿的服飾等。

3)為了方便安排活動，如有必要，可注明請對方予以回復看看
