刪除諸如“who is”或“that is”之類的關系代詞，變從句為短語，例：

修改后：the three-part novel told a story set in the middle ages.

注：把句中的“three parts”改用形容詞來表達，節省了四個不必要的單詞“which is writtenin”。我們經常可以將關系代詞如“that”去掉，這只會引起最少的變動。學習方法

一、先審題，弄清寫作要求審題是寫好作文的前提，也是書面表達的.基礎。如果寫偏了題，語言表達再好也很難得高分。審題時要注意兩個方面：

1.認真地看兩遍題目，包括提示，全面了解寫作要求。

2.理清思路，確定體裁、框架結構和內容。

二、用英語進行思維英語寫作時必須排除漢語思維的干擾。
