我深知世界上有許多作家有資格甚至比我更有資格獲得這個獎項；我相信，只要他們堅持寫下去，只要他們相信文學是人的光榮也是上帝賦予人的權利，那么，“他必將華冠加在你頭上，把榮冕交給你。”（《圣經箴言·第四章》）

我深知，文學對世界上的政治紛爭、經濟危機影響甚微，但文學對人的影響卻是源遠流長。有文學時也許我們認識不到它的重要，但如果沒有文學，人的生活便會粗鄙野蠻。因此，我為自己的職業感到光榮也感到沉重.借此機會，我要向堅定地堅持自己信念的瑞典學院院士們表示崇高的敬意，我相信，除了文學，沒有任何能夠打動你們的理由。

我還要向翻譯我作品的各國翻譯家表示崇高的敬意，沒有你們，世界文學這個概念就不能成立。你們的工作，是人類彼此了解、互相尊重的橋梁。

當然，在這樣的時刻，我不會忘記我的家人、朋友對我的支持和幫助，他們的智慧和友誼在我的作品里閃耀光芒。

For me, a farm boy from Gaomi's Northeast Township in far-away China, standing here in this world-famous hall after having received the Nobel Prize in Literature feels like a fairy tale, but of course it is true.獲獎后一個多月的經歷，使我認識到了諾貝爾文學獎巨大的影響和不可撼動的尊嚴。我一直在冷眼旁觀著這段時間里發生的一切，這是千載難逢的認識人世的機會，更是一個認清自我的機會。

My experiences during the months since the announcement have made me aware of the enormous impact of the Nobel Prize and the unquestionable respect it enjoys.I have tried to view what has happened during this period in a cool, detached way.It has been a golden opportunity for me to learn about the world and, even more so, an opportunity for me to learn about myself.我深知世界上有許多作家有資格甚至比我更有資格獲得這個獎項；我相信，只要他們堅持寫下去，只要他們相信文學是人的光榮也是上帝賦予人的權利，那么，“他必將華
