The more convenience plastics brings to us, the more plastic waste is produced. This is called “white pollution” as most plastics are white. Some of our products we use every day are made of rubber, just like the tyres and the bottom part of our shoes. It’s true that rubber plays an important role in our life. x月x日的“無車日”，讓城市里滾滾不息的車流不見了，馬路上顯得不再擁擠。

人們用騎自行車等綠色出行方式，傳遞低碳環保的信息。

可是，在我們身邊，有的人讓日光燈徹夜不息，有的人隨手丟棄一次性垃圾，有的人盡情享受空調帶來的清涼安逸。

我們在享受現代化社會的過程中，不正忽略了其他生物的感受嗎？即使是無生命的物體，我們又何曾考慮過它們呢？聽老人說，以前那些河流，干凈清澈，可以喝，可以洗衣服，可以游泳，多少令人懷念的生活啊！我們可能永遠也享受不到那種烈日之下跳進河水痛痛快快舒服的滋味了，你可以注意周圍的河流，有哪一個是清澈的，有哪一個是沒有垃圾的，是時代改變了人類的自覺性嗎？有了追求所謂的現代化生活就可以拋棄這些包含無盡快樂的事物嗎？當河水匯入大海，當千年萬年之后，大海也如同那濁水，失去湛藍的姿色，我們還會有那水天一色嗎？為什么我們不仔細聽聽河水的呼叫，不好好回來它心中早想說的那句“別這樣”呢？

“低碳”，其實是一種生活習慣，是一種自然而然的去節約身邊各種資源的習慣，只要你愿意主動去約束自己，改善自己的生活習慣，你就可以加入進來。同學們，讓我們行動起來，積極創造低碳生活!其實做到節能，創造低碳生活很簡單。例如少買或不買各種各樣的飲料，隨身自備一瓶涼開水;在家用淘米水澆花;不管在家還是在校，都做到隨手關燈;練習本的反面用來當演算紙;用完的練習本或廢紙積攢起來，用于廢物回收(因為回收1噸廢紙能生產好紙800千克，可以少砍17棵大樹，節省3立方米的垃圾填埋場空間，還可以節約一半以上的造紙能源，減少35%的水污染，每張紙至少可以回收利用兩次)等等。這些行為旨在培養一種習慣，一種思想。思想是行動的先導，只有從思想上真正樹立起節約的意識，才能使節能低碳成為我們日常生活中主動、自覺的行為。

眾所周知，人類只有一個地球，我們對這個星球上的生態系統有著永遠擺脫不完的依賴性，需要地球源源不斷地提供植物和動物的食物，需要有足夠厚度的大氣層，來保護人類不受過高或過低氣溫，以及過量紫外線的傷害，需要地球提供足夠量的水和氧氣來維持生命的存在，我們都是在依賴這個給了我們一切的地球，我們一直在索取，我們難道不應該為她做點什么嗎？我們知道，當今世界性的十大環境問題，即氣候變暖、臭氧層破壞、生物多樣性減少、酸雨蔓延、森林銳減、土地荒漠化、大氣污染等，這其中就有9項是因為我們不斷制造垃圾導致污染從而引發的。環境污染的問題已經到了讓我們觸目驚心的地步。以前，我們許多人都以為污染主要是工業生產造成的，與自身沒有太大關系。實際上研究表明，工業污染只占生活總污染源的41%，而每個家庭中所產生的污染卻占到了59%。據數據統計，一個人一天平均要制造1千克的垃圾、5個不可分解的塑料袋，2-3個一次性飯盒；一個人因洗頭、洗澡、洗衣服等等，一天平均可以制造出200升的廢水在污染著河流、大海和土壤；并且一個人每天平均在用20g的化學用品污染著整個大環境。你們知道嗎？一節五號電池能污染1平方米土地50150年，一個電子表電池會污染6000立方米水源。想想這些，是不是覺得有點危難當頭了呢？雖然，這些污染在短的時期還不會造成很嚴重的后果，可是請為我們的后代生活的這片土地這個空間，為我們人類的未來多做一些吧！我們國家是農業大國，我國是世界上使用化肥、農藥數量最大的國家之一。

我國的化肥利用率平均只有30%～35%。每年有大量肥份流入水體，對環境產生了嚴重污染，對水體、土壤、大氣、生物及人體健康造成嚴重危害。而農藥一旦進入環境，其毒性、高殘留性會發生反應，造成嚴重的大氣、水體及土壤的污染，這些就是我們在農業生產中造成的污染，它要比工業污染等其它的污染更難防范，更難治理。試想我們的土地已經板結，水源已經枯竭，土地再也長不出糧食，誰還能養活我們13億的人口，連溫飽我們都解決不了，如何談到社會進步！

素以水草豐美著稱的全國重點牧區呼倫貝爾草原和錫林郭勒草原，退化面積分別達23%和41%，鄂爾多斯草原的退化最為嚴重，面積達68%以上。以往沙塵暴基本上是從阿拉善盟和巴彥淖爾盟的沙漠地帶發起，今年卻東移到烏蘭察布盟和錫林郭勒盟，向世人拉響了最令人擔憂的生態警報：美麗的錫林郭勒草原也已嚴重沙化。內蒙古乃至世界上最為典型的草甸草原東烏珠穆沁旗，草場退化面積已占全旗可利用草場的66%以上。以荒漠草原為代表的阿拉善盟和伊克昭盟，草原退化、沙化之勢更為嚴峻。

與50年代相比，阿拉善左旗的草地覆蓋度降低了30%至50%，目前荒漠和半荒漠已占到了這個旗草地的96.9%。
