Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon!I?m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech.today my topic is “Life”.I hope you will like it ，Man?s life is a process of growing up, actually I?m standing here is a growth.If a person?s life must constituted by various choices, then I grow up along with these choices.Once I hope I can study in a college in future, however that?s passed, as you know I come here, now I wonder what the future holds for(= what will happen to)me.When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, all starts here.Following I will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, intensive thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, has a perfect job.

Once my teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist;never forget which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” I will put my personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process I will combine learning with doing.If I can achieve this “future”, I think that I really grow up.And I deeply believe kindred, good-fellowship and love will perfection and happy in the future.How to say future? 我的老師曾經(jīng)說(shuō)過(guò)：“你不閉塞，你可以自成流派。永遠(yuǎn)不要忘記你所能展示給人們是你的思想，不是你的技術(shù)。”我將把我的人格和我的興趣以及我的能力帶到我的學(xué)習(xí)中去，在這個(gè)過(guò)程中，我將注重實(shí)踐和理論的結(jié)合。如果我能實(shí)現(xiàn)我的這個(gè)夢(mèng)想，我想，我那時(shí)就真正的長(zhǎng)大了，那時(shí)我相信我的親情，友情，愛(ài)情將會(huì)變的十分完美，十分幸福。

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree.A little boy loved to come and play around it every day.He climbed to the tree top, ate the apples, took a nap under the shadow… He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him.Time went by…The little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree.One day, the boy came back to the tree and looked sad.“Come and play with me,” the tree asked the boy.“I am no longer a kid, I don?t play around trees anymore.” The boy replied, “I want toys.I need money to buy them.” “Sorry, but I don?t have money…but you can pick all my apples and sell them.So, you will have money.” The boy was so excited.He picked all the apples on the tree and left happily.The boy didn?t come back after he picked the apples.The tree was sad.One day, the boy returned and the tree was so excited.“Come and play with me.” The tree said.“I don?t have time to play.I have to work for my family.We need a house for shelter.Can you help me?” “Sorry, but I don?t have a house.But you can cut off my branches to build your house.” So the boy cut all the branches of the tree and left happily.The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy didn?t appear since then.The tree was again lonely and sad.One hot summer day, the boy returned and the tree was delighted.“Come and play with me!” the tree said.“I am sad and getting old.I want to go sailing to relax myself.Can you give me a boat?” “Use my trunk to build the boat.You can sail and be happy.” So the boy cut the tree trunk to make a boat.He went sailing and did not show up for a long time.Finally, the boy returned after he left for so many years.“Sorry, my boy.But I don?t have anything for you anymore.No more apples for you.” the tree said.“ I don?t have teeth to bite.” The boy replied.“ No more trunk for you to climb on.” “I am too old for that now.” the boy said.“I really want to give you something…the only thing left is my dying roots.” The tree said with tears.“I don?t need much now, just a place to rest.I am tired after all these years.” The boy replied.“Good!Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest.Come here, please sit down with me and have a rest.” The boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears…

This is a story of everyone.The tree is our parent.When we were young, we loved to play with Mom and Dad… When we grow up, we leave them, and only come to them when we need something or when we are in trouble.No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could to make you happy.You may think that the boy is cruel to the tree but that's how all of us are treating our parents.很久以前有一棵蘋(píng)果樹(shù)。一個(gè)小男孩每天都喜歡來(lái)到樹(shù)旁玩耍。他爬到樹(shù)頂，吃蘋(píng)果，在樹(shù)蔭里打盹……他愛(ài)這棵樹(shù)，樹(shù)也愛(ài)和他一起玩。

“我不再是小孩了，我不會(huì)再到樹(shù)下玩耍了。”男孩答到，“我想要玩具，我需要錢(qián)來(lái)買(mǎi)。”

“很遺憾，我沒(méi)有錢(qián)……但是你可以采摘我的所有蘋(píng)果拿去賣(mài)。這樣你就有錢(qián)了。”男孩很興奮。他摘掉樹(shù)上所有的蘋(píng)果，然后高興地離開(kāi)了。自從那以后男孩沒(méi)有回來(lái)。樹(shù)很傷心。

一天，男孩回來(lái)了，樹(shù)非常興奮。“來(lái)和我玩吧。”樹(shù)說(shuō)。“我沒(méi)有時(shí)間玩。我得為我的家庭工作。我們需要一個(gè)房子來(lái)遮風(fēng)擋雨，你能幫我嗎？”很遺憾，我沒(méi)有房子。但是，你可以砍下我的樹(shù)枝來(lái)建房。“因此，男孩砍下所有的樹(shù)枝，高高興興地離開(kāi)了。

這是一個(gè)發(fā)生在每一個(gè)人身上的故事。那棵樹(shù)就像我們的父母。我們小的時(shí)候，喜歡和爸爸媽媽玩……長(zhǎng)大后，便離開(kāi)他們，只有在我們需要父母親，或是遇到了困難的時(shí)候，才會(huì)回去找他們。盡管如此，父母卻總是有求必應(yīng)，為了我們的幸福，無(wú)私地奉獻(xiàn)自己的一切。你也許覺(jué)得那個(gè)男孩很殘忍，但我們何嘗不是這樣呢？

人類(lèi)在歷史上的生活正如旅行一樣。旅途上的征人所經(jīng)過(guò)的地方有時(shí)是坦蕩平原，有時(shí)是崎嶇險(xiǎn)路。老于旅途的人，走到平坦的地方固是高高興興地向前走，走到崎嶇的境界，愈是奇趣橫生，覺(jué)得在此奇艷壯絕的境界，愈能感得一種冒險(xiǎn)的美趣。
