教師準備Let’s learn 部分的課件。

學生準備動物玩具,每人帶1-2個。

教師準備所學單詞卡片和圖片。【教學過程】 熱身、復習(Warm-up/Revision)

(2)教師播放 “Hide and Seek” 的歌曲錄音,師生邊唱邊做動作。

教師準備所學動物類單詞卡片(或玩具)和圖片。學生準備相關的動物玩具及面具。(每人至少一個)【教學過程】 熱身、復習(Warm-up/Revision)

(1)日??谡Z練習。

(2)教師播放第一冊Unit 4 B Let’s chant 的錄音帶。將cat, pig, monkey, mouse 的圖片貼在黑板上。學生邊指圖邊跟錄音復習歌謠,還可以做出相應的動作。通過此歌謠可以復習Look at ?的句型,以及big, fat, funny 等單詞。

呈現新課(Presentation)

(1)教師為學生播放本單元第一課時的教學課件,復習單詞big, long, short, small, tall。

(2)了解so 的用法。

學生讀完Unit 4 B Let’s chant 的歌謠后,教師從黑板上取下pig 的圖片,對學生說:Look at the pig.It’s SO big.強調SO 的語調,并加以“大”的手勢。接著,教師拿下mouse 的圖片,對學生說:Look at the mouse.It’s small.It’s SO? 示意學生說出:It’s so small.同樣,教師做出“小”的手勢。讓學生體會 SO 在句子中的意思是:“強調某種程度”。

(3)教師出示單詞卡片或實物對比的方法,再次認讀并復習表示大小、長短的單詞big, long, short, small, tall。

(4)教師播放Let’s talk / A 部分的教學課件,讓學生初步了解對話含義。

(5)根據學生對課件的記憶以及平日生活中的觀察,讓學生說說大象的眼睛、鼻子以及整體的樣子。

S: The elephant has a long nose.It has big ears.It has a short tail.It is(so)big.教師引導學生將這些句子用 and 連接在一起,并帶讀:Look at the elephant, It’s so big.It has a long nose and a short tail.It has small eyes and big ears.(6)再次觀看Let’s talk / A 部分的教學課件,讓學生跟讀對話中的句子,模仿發音,要求自然生動。

趣味操練(Practice)

(1)將課件中的聲音關閉,為其中的人物配音。

(2)讓學生拿出事先準備好的玩具。先將學生手中的各個玩具單詞說一說,然后教師做示范:請一名學生上講臺前,教師指著學生手中的玩具說:A monkey.Look at the monkey.It has small ears.It has big eyes and long tail.(etc.)之后,請幾個能力較強的學生說說手中動物玩具的樣子。

(3)讓學生以小組為單位,繼續練習簡單形容自己、他人或小動物的情況。在此處,教師提示學生注意:形容自己時說: I have big eyes and small mouth.I have?

形容他人時說: He/She has long hair.形容小動物時說: It has a long nose.(4)教師請每組派一名學生到講臺前表述組里的人或小動物玩具。如:

Look at the monkey.It’s so funny.It has a long tail and a big mouth.It has big eyes and a small nose.Or:

Look at Mary(Mike/Tom).She has big eyes and small nose.She has long hair.She is happy.(5)做Let’s play 部分的練習。

按照課本中所呈現的方式,教師先拿出一個小豬的面具,請一名學生到講臺前戴上面具,扮演“小豬”,說: I have? 接著,教師可以讓另一名學生轉述“小豬”的話,如: Look, it has big nose and small eyes.教師帶領學生做游戲,通過游戲的形式讓學生連鎖記憶,從而復習鞏固介紹自己、他人或小動物情況的句子。課堂評價(Assessment)

擴展性活動(Add-activities)

教師把學生帶到室外,做傳球說物的游戲。將學生分為3—4組,每組圍成一個圈,每圈的學生分一個氣球,學生聽音樂傳球活動,當音樂停止時,手中拿到球的學生則抽取問題,問題的內容為:形容某某人或某某小動物?;卮饐栴}的同學用Look at? It has? It’s so?

或 Look at ? He/She has? He/She is so? 的句子來表述。

第三課時 教學目標: 能聽懂、會說以下國家的英文縮寫 PRC, CAN, UK, USA。能聽懂本課的韻文,并能跟錄音一起說。復習字母大小寫?!窘虒W重點】在復習字母時學習中國、加拿大、英國、美國的國名縮寫。【教學難點】中國、加拿大、英國、美國四國國名的簡稱或全稱的發音?!窘叹邷蕚洹?教師準備教材配套的錄音帶。

教師準備字母卡A—Z。教師準備中國、加拿大、英國、美國四國的國旗。

有關奧運會入場式的錄像帶。【教學過程】 熱身、復習(Warm-up/Revision)

(1)日??谡Z練習的展示。

(2)讓學生根據動物的圖片或個人情況,簡單形容某人、某物的樣子。

(3)游戲:請說出與我動作不同的單詞。

教師做動作,要求學生說出與教師所做動作不同的單詞。如:教師做 tall 的動作,學生說: short。

呈現新課(Presentation)

(1)教師將準備好的字母卡片按照A—Z 的順序貼在黑板上。指著每個字母請學生認讀,復習字母表。可以全班齊讀,再以“開火車”的形式每人認讀一個字母。教師要求學生注意每個字母大小寫的不同形式。

(2)教師出示中國、加拿大、英國、美國四國的國旗,教師帶讀China, Canada, United Kingdom, America。

(3)教師播放Let’s chant部分的錄相,在活潑動感的chant中讓學生了解國旗的同時初步感受四國國名的簡稱或全稱的發音 China, Canada, United Kingdom, America。

(4)游戲:眼疾手快

將全班分成四組,派一名學生到黑板前,教師念一個字母,學生就要從黑板上取下這個字母。最后比比,哪組學生手中的字母卡片最多。

(5)教師將寫有大寫字母的卡片發給部分學生,每人一張,說:P, R, C.拿著這三個字母卡的學生要按順序站成一排。用同樣的方法讓學生找出CAN UK 和USA(教師在發給學生卡片時,可有意準備兩個A, C, 和 U以備用)。

(6)領讀這幾個單詞,告訴學生它們是中國、加拿大、英國、美國四個國家的國名縮寫,國名要用大寫。將準備好的四面國旗分別貼在各自的國名縮寫下,請學生根據國旗說出每個 詞代表的國家。

趣味操練(Practice)

(1)游戲:配對游戲。

將寫有四國國名縮寫的字母卡和國旗分別給8個學生,請他們將詞

與圖配對貼在黑板上。

(2)讓學生聽Let’s say 部分錄音,并跟讀。

(3)讓學生聽 Let’s chant 部分的歌謠錄音,一句一句的跟讀。將China, Canada, United Kingdom, America 四個國家的國名板書于各國國旗下。告訴學生PRC 和 USA 是中國和美國的簡稱,完整的形式為:the People’s Republic of China(即:中華人民共和國)以及 the United States of America(即:美利堅合眾國)。而平時多使用 China, America 兩個單詞。

(4)采取大節拍的方法讀歌謠。還可根據學生情況,教師讀前半句,學生讀后半句;男生讀前半句,女生讀后半句等方法練習。

課堂評價(Assessment)

做活動手冊本單元第部分的練習,方法和步驟同以前。

擴展性活動(Add-activities)

展示各國國旗,學習其他國家的縮寫和讀音。如:日本 JPN Japan,澳大利亞AUS Australia 俄羅斯 RUS Russia等等。

第四課時 教學目標:

1、學習兩個形容詞tall short,掌握形容詞的用法。

2、在A部分對話的基礎上,運用本課時及A部分學過的形容詞描述事物的特征。

3、學習常用表達法:“Yeah!You're right."

【教學重點】理解掌握形容詞tall short,并在實際情境中運用

(一)熱身/復習(Warm-up/Revision)

1、說一說,演一演A部分Let’s do的歌謠。

2、look and say

教師用手勢做出big, small, long, tall等樣子,讓孩子猜一猜,說一說

3、choose and say

教師將毛絨玩具放在一個大盒子里,請孩子當前面選擇自己最喜歡的,介紹給同學們,運用上學過的句子:“I have a ?.It has long/? nose/?.”

(二)呈現新課(Presentation)

1、教師投影一幅動物園的大掛圖(自制,包括許多動物),讓孩子結合圖說一說

What can you see?

用自己學過的形容詞描述一下上面的動物

引導孩子用成對的詞描述看到的動物,引出新詞。

2、通過描述圖中的動物,引出單詞tall short,教師指著圖中的長頸鹿和鹿,介紹這兩個

單詞。通過動作比劃tall short兩個詞,引導孩子理解。

3、引導孩子們和老師、同學比一比身高運用上這兩個單詞。

4、出示課件,讓孩子觀看課件(關掉聲音),根據故事的內容給課件配音

5、播放課件, 孩子看課件理解含義。

孩子分角色跟讀。

操練新句型(教師注意short tall連個單詞的讀音示范)

(三)趣味操練(Practice)

1、運用手中的毛絨玩具,先描述一下。(仿照A部分Let’s tall的對話)然后再兩個同學比較一下自己手中的玩具,運用tall short進行描述。

2、教師投影出示多幅孩子的家庭照片,讓孩子根據家庭成員的情況,運用tall, short兩個單詞進行描述。

(四)擴展性活動(Add-activities)

Let’s practice部分的交流活動,讓孩子從家中帶來自己喜歡的動物玩具,運用學過的句子,把他們介紹給同學們

教學重點:進一步學習常見的幾種動物的單詞 monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit。

教學難點:panda, cat, rabbit 三個單詞中的字母 a 都含有相同的音[? ],提示學生找共同點,使學生簡單了解一些語音知識。

教具準備: 教師準備 monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit 的圖片和相應的單詞卡片。

教師準備 monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit 的面具或頭飾。

教師準備與教材相配套的教學錄音帶。教師準備Let’s talk/ A 部分對話中人物的面具。

教學過程: 熱身、復習(Warm-up/Revision)

(1)Oral practice學生口語會話展示。教師可提示學生適時加入新句型: I have a ?.(2)讓學生帶上面具表演第一課時 Let’s talk/ A 部分的對話。

(3)“猜猜看”游戲。

教師用簡筆畫的方法在黑板上畫某種動物身體的某個部位,邊畫邊問:What is it? 如:教師在黑板上畫猴子的頭、耳朵后問: What is it? 學生隨意想象,猜圖說:A panda? A monkey? ? 教師再繼續畫一兩筆,讓學生接著猜,并以小組為單位討論,最后由一名學生代表說出一個答案。教師將圖畫完,帶領學生一起說: Look!It’s a ? 猜對的小組贏得一分。呈現新課(Presentation)

(1)繼續調動學生學習興趣,接著剛才的游戲猜謎。教師將所學的動物單詞 monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit 的圖片提前貼在一塊小黑板上,或提前貼在教室的黑板上,并在每幅動物圖案上用紙張或其它物品遮蓋好,只露動物的尾巴,讓學生猜猜看 What is it?,導入單詞的學習。

(2)學生根據動物的尾巴猜謎,并七嘴八舌的討論。

(3)教師將遮蓋物取下,學生自然的發出感嘆 Wow!Great!隨后教師請學生讀單詞。(學生在第一課時已經初步學習了單詞)此時教師不要急于糾正學生發音,而讓學生相互說說、評評,讓學生間相互糾正單詞的發音。

(4)教師出示單詞卡片,請學生將單詞讀出后將卡片貼在黑板上,并要求貼在相對應的圖片底下。使單詞的音、形、譯三者相結合。

(5)教師請五名“小老師”到講臺前帶讀單詞,既是對能力強學生的表彰也是多方面調動學習興趣的體現。讓每名“小老師”帶讀一個單詞。

(6)打開書41頁,全體學生聽錄音跟讀單詞。要求每讀一個單詞,手指一個單詞。跟讀單詞時力求模仿錄音中的語音語調。

(7)將學生分為六個小組,讓能力強的學生或自愿申報擔任組長工作,帶領小組組員繼續學習單詞,鞏固認讀情況 monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit。小組活動時應有評比,評比各組活動情況,如:學習氛圍,小組紀律狀況,有無大聲喊叫現象,有無打鬧現象等。教師還可為各小組命名,組名為新單詞內容 monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit。

(8)小組反饋。讓小組組員齊讀單詞,也可每人讀一個單詞,檢查單詞掌握情況。教師可繼續評比,方法為:讀對一個單詞加一分。

(9)總結小組分數。

趣味操練(Practice)

(1)游戲:小組對抗賽

a.按六個小組monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit 開展對抗比賽,各小組挑選一名組員上講臺前抽取單詞卡片,大聲認讀,本組的其他組員快速做出此種動物的動作或模仿聲音,正確的加分。以此類推,直到六個小組都輪流過一次。

b.各小組間自由挑選組員,按自己的意愿說本課單詞,但只張嘴不出聲音,要求對方猜出單詞是什么。例:monkey小組挑選dog小組的一名組員并不出聲音的說單詞panda,dog小組的組員要按照口形猜出單詞,猜對的加分。以此類推,各組間自由考察,相互提問。

c.總結各小組分數,為第一名小組發獎。

(2)Let’s do

a.教師播放 Let’s do 部分的錄音,學生邊聽邊說邊做此部分的活動。做動作時可加上動物的叫聲。

b.教師使用Let’s do 部分的動作圖卡,讓學生看圖說圖卡上畫的是什么動物做的動作。

c.學生再次聽錄音,能力強的學生說出指令內容,同時請幾個學生上臺前表演動作。

(3)游戲:

教師將monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit 的面具或頭飾拿出,選六名學生到講臺前,請他們緊閉雙眼,教師給它們戴上面具后學生睜開雙眼。底下的學生直呼其中一人的名字,并用動作告訴她/他面具是什么動物,由帶面具的學生猜,猜對為勝,直到六名學生都知道自己的面具是什么動物。根據時間決定游戲次數。課堂評價(Assessment)

游戲1:I’m lucky today!

教師將學生帶到室外,按學生人數分成大組,每組約10人,圍成大圈坐在地下。給每組學生一套面具monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit,讓一名學生手拿面具,隨音樂走動,當音樂停止時將其中一個面具放在一名同學身后,大家一起喊:1 2 3(One, two, three),誰的身后有面具誰就是“幸運星”,“幸運星”要戴上面具大聲說:I’m lucky!Look!I have a ?。音樂再次響起,游戲繼續進行。

游戲2:介紹運動員入場

教師將面具發給學生,讓學生戴上面具,扮演小動物參加運動會入場式。底下的同學要一同介紹參加入場式的成員 This is Panda.This is Cat.This is Duck.?

本課時通過 Let's learn 和 Let's do 兩部分的學習掌握幾個常見的動物單詞:monkey, dog, duck, panda, cat, rabbit。在第一課時學生已經能聽懂、會說這幾個的動物單詞,本課時對學生提出認讀的要求。首先教師通過簡筆畫,和學生做“猜猜看”的游戲,自然導入動物單詞的學習??紤]到學生接受能力的差異,本課時教師給能力強的學生當“小老師”的機會,還讓能力強的學生擔任組長工作,帶領小組成員學習單詞。讓不同層次的學生有不同的學、練方法,使之興趣濃厚、各有收獲。Let's do 部分教師依然通過“全身動作反映法”(TPR活動)讓學生聽指令、做動作。學生經過親自表演動物,形象地將“音和譯”融為一體。聽聽做做的同時刺激大腦皮層,進一步激活記憶、鞏固知識。

探究活動 動物拼圖

活動目的:通過拼圖游戲,進一步鞏固所學的動物的單詞以及句型Look!I have a...活動形式:全班參與

活動過程:

1)教師把所學的小動物的圖片拆分成許多小塊,放在一起,每個小組都分到同樣的一堆動物“零件”,看哪個小組拼得快,拼得多。

2)每拼好一個動物,每個小組派一個代表向老師報告:“ Look, I have a...”

3)每個小組以拼好的動物為道具,自設情景,表演對話,要求用到下面的句型:

-Look!I have a...-Wow!/Cool!/Super!/Great!

4)由教師評出冠軍,進行獎勵。

評比標準:動物拼得快不快,多不多,準不準,與教師對話的代表人數以及小組表演的情況
