黃河石林形成于距今400萬年前的第三世紀末的地質(zhì)時代，由于地殼運動、風化，雨蝕，形成了以黃河砂礫巖為主，造型千姿百態(tài)的石林地貌奇觀。主要景觀有：屈原問天，蒼鷹回首，千帆競發(fā)，大象戲水等。

大敦煌影視城：位于甘肅省景泰縣東部24km處，占地5000平方米，那里的風光非常相似敦煌，有壁畫，城樓。。

飲馬大峽谷：又稱飲馬溝。相傳因成吉思汗在此飲過馬而得名，著名影視《神話》外景拍攝地，黃河石林除了那些祖祖輩輩相傳下來的關(guān)于祖先經(jīng)歷的傳說之外，幾乎沒有故事，但它本身就是對自己的絕好說明。

古老的羊皮筏子：古代黃河上的一種擺渡工具。乘坐小筏順流而下更是一種令人難以忘懷的體驗。

盤龍洞：黃河石林峰林中有一個仙洞名曰：“盤龍洞”。洞內(nèi)有天然形成的太極圖。洞深16米，寬13米，高3-4米，最高處高達8米。洞內(nèi)有一“興龍寺”為宗教圣地。
